About this role:
The Essex Services Manager will be responsible for running the High, Medium and Low Services and delivery of a first-class service in line with the support services offered. The post holder will work as a member of the Senior Management Team working closely with other Operational Managers, the Executive Team, Commissioners and External Strategic and Clinical Partners.

Main Duties:
• Work with the CEO, Head of Operations and Regional Manager in maintaining the high standards connected with strategic planning and development, supervision, delivery and administration of the service;

Essential Requirements:
• Good level of maths and written English
• Experience in supervising/line managing staff with an awareness of good practice in staff supervision or recent completion of an appropriate training programme.
• Good standard of office administrative practices and procedures
• Ability to work with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to identify support needs of service users and ensure that these are communicated to the wider staff team
• Ability to plan, manage and prioritise a high workload to meet deadliness
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral and negotiation skills

We are seeking a highly committed, proactive and professional Registered Service Manager to lead the operational management of a specialist supported living service located in Braintree. The service has been developed to meet the needs of people who have a learning disability and/or autism and complex needs, including mental health needs and behaviours which can challenge.

The service supports 10 people in an attractive new-build supported housing scheme, commissioned as part of the Transforming Care Programme in Essex. The accommodation has been carefully designed to meet the needs of individuals with a range of needs and special requirements. The service is currently rated as Outstanding by CQC.

All tenants (including current residents) need well planned, personalised support to allow them to make a successful transition to supported living and to become more confident and independent. As a number of service users have forensic histories or can present with high risk behaviours, there is a requirement for positive and robust risk management and effective behaviour support strategies.

As the Registered Service Manager you will ensure that the service is of the highest quality, meeting all CQC standards and contract requirements and that this can be demonstrated through comprehensive quality and contract monitoring processes. The Service Delivery Manager will provide management support in ensuring safe, high-quality evidence-based services are available to adults referred onto the Clinical Health pathway; developing and delivering a comprehensive specialist service that is adult-centred; pro-actively resolving day-to-day A&C management issues and works in partnership with families and other agencies.

The post holder will work closely with the Head of Service, Operational Leads, and multidisciplinary Clinical Leads to drive the successful delivery of the Clinical Health Psychological Service.

Main duties, responsibilities, and results areas:

1. Performance and Systems management

• Assist and support the Head of Service, Clinical Leads and Operational Leads in the smooth running of the service whilst pro-actively resolving day-to-day A&C management issues within the Service.

• Assist in collating, delivering, and reporting monthly internal and external service KPI’s.

• Data collection and analysis in relation to patient data flow on the CHPS pathway. Backlog/waiting lists from review of patient data on RiO to measure and monitor trends in backlog/waiting lists.

• Provide expertise in data collection, extraction, processing, and interpretation.

• Assist in the implementation of effective processes and procedures to monitor and track performance within the Service. To support clinicians in resolving issues where agreed performance is not being met.

• Collate, analyse, and act on data to ensure balanced demand and capacity modelling, proactively managing adverse situations.

• Ensure proactive management of patient pathway issues to ensure all national targets are met, and coordinate and manage processes through teams to ensure compliance.

• Responsible for the compliance, accuracy and maintenance of both local service data systems and the service’s performance with the Trust wide information system such as Rio.

• Ensure the accuracy of the PTL / RTT reports and efficient management of the patient caseload by use of this report in conjunction with the Rio waiting list.

• Contribute to team activity reports and annual KPI reports.

• Actively support team feedback and take appropriate actions to support varying standards of performance.

• To have oversight of the Thinking Together Forum

• To lead on Social Media and project based work

Role Overview:

The Service Delivery Team Leader role is varied and involves working alongside internal teams to provide help and offer solutions and support where and when it is needed most.

The Service Delivery Team Leader will have responsibilities covering the day to day managing of the Service Delivery team at Ongar as well being the 'owner' of the customer Short Term Rentals (STR) deliveries and collection requests for the Ongar site.
