Responsibilities:

Supporting HRBP

• To provide HR Business partnering support to the assigned schools and departments in HR matters and issues.
• To effectively utilise HR information systems and databases to record, update and effectively utilize employee data.
• To provide excellent customer service in responding to enquiries to drive on-time and practical solutions.
• To maintain employee data and files, ensuring they are well organised and up-to-date.
• To support the performance management process, including working with Line Managers and Principals in the collation, analysis and implementation of data and results to drive a high performance culture.

Recruitment and Selection

• To provide support and input to the recruitment process, including application assessment, shortlisting and selection, and onwards to the onboarding and induction of new staff.
• To provide support in recruitment administration, including screening applications and assisting with the organising of interviews and liaising with candidates.
• To liaise with individuals and external organisations, both in Singapore and abroad, to verify candidate references and qualifications.
• To use external online sites such as Job Portals, the Jobs Bank to advertise and manage vacancies.

General HR Administration

• To assist in the organising and administration for learning and development activities and administer the training grant applications across the schools in EtonHouse.
• To Liaise with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) on employment pass / S-Pass and work permit applications and renewals as required.
• To assist in the organising of staff events in the company.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Resource or its equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in HR related role
• Conversant with the Singapore Employment Act and a good understanding of general HR practices will be an added advantage

• Coordinate with human resource agencies to resolve complex personnel issues.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Chief, Career Development in administering all aspects of the section. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Enlisted position. Supervisory duties are performed less than 25 percent of the work year.

Duties:
1. Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Career Development programs for both Active Guard Reserve (AGR) and unit reservists.
2. Manages the Air Force Active Guard/Reserve (AGR) Program. May be required to perform Installation Personnel Readiness duties and/or assist as directed.
3. Administers actions in Automated Reserve Orders Writing System-Reserves (AROWS-R).
4. Serves as advisor to commanders on unit human resources (military) programs. Ensures accuracy of Personnel Data System (PDS) and performs functional review of data reliability

The incumbent serves as a Human Resources (HR) Liaison between the district cemeteries and the NCA HRC regarding any HCM related matters to include recruitment and placement, performance management, classification, awards, retirements and separations, benefits, etc. for district and cemetery staff. The incumbent is considered an HR Subject Matter Expert internal to the NCA's Districts. Receives technical expertise on HR matters from NCA HRC and NCA HCM and coordinates with NGA staff as appropriate. Provides an array of HR services including advice, guidance, and processing, in conjunction with the NCA HRC staff.

Works in collaboration with NCA HRC to create viable recruitment tools which are used to create a viable candidate pool. They assist in the evaluation process after the vacancy has closed by coordinating and advising management on NCA's Merit Promotion Process.

Works closely with District Executive Director (ED) for the recruitment and selection process of all Cemetery Administrator (1630 series) level staff. The HRL is responsible for the entire evaluation and selection process of candidates. The process entails the full coordination of the evaluation process in accordance with NCA's Merit Promotion Plan and local guidance. Each candidate's interview and final ranking documentation is reviewed by the incumbent to ensure all necessary information is captured in the documents. Drafts a selection memo which is routed for signature by the appropriate official. The completed selection packet is uploaded in USA Staffing to support final selection.

Work schedule: Required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. May include occasional weekends.

• The position provides technical expertise on factual, procedural and/or recurring issues for the command, staff, and subordinate units on personnel actions.
