The Specialist, Corporate Communications supports team efforts to enrich the overall employee experience and company storytelling through high quality internal communication and external communications for the firm’s Corporate Communications function. This includes informing and engaging employees and stakeholders through timely, effective and strategic communications. The Specialist, Corporate Communications will work across functional teams to deliver key messages that support business priorities and the firm’s culture while driving engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, shares new ideas and is flexible to meet the needs of our stakeholders. This role reports to Cushman & Wakefield’s Director, Corporate and Internal Communications.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the execution of corporate communication strategies with content that inspires and engages employees and external stakeholders across multiple channels.
• Support special projects to ensure employees are receiving the right information at the right time.
• Develop a variety of communications materials ranging from emails, internal articles, newsletters and digital signage.
• Help manage and maintain content for various communication channels.
• Provide comprehensive support in proofreading, editing and ensuring the consistency of the brand voice in all communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or marketing.
• 3-5 years of experience in internal or corporate communications.
• Proven, comparable experience in the job’s areas of responsibility.
• Excellent written, interpersonal and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating content for social media.
• Strong project and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative while working well in a group environment.

We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer as the customer facing, technical resource supporting Emerging Internet Content Providers, Data Center Operators, and Content Delivery Operators for the United States. The ideal candidate requires a strong technical background with an understanding of optical products, routing/switching products, software, and customer applications. In addition, the candidate should possess the ability to position Ciena’s leadership in networking hardware and software solutions as well as how Ciena’s offerings differentiate against the competition. This position is based in the United States.

Responsibilities:

·  Perform technical oversight, including on-site customer engagements, support customer and internal architectural discussions, and requirements definition into the engineering organizations.

·  Ability to produce written proposals, network engineering designs/documentation, as well as quoting the solutions. 

·  Be able to create, communicate and articulate the value of solutions to customers.

·  Understand the customer’s network, software applications, and architecture. 

·  Work with both internal and external organizations to drive solutions for our customers. 

·  Consult with customers on best practices and how to incorporate Ciena’s technology into their networks. 
 

General Activities:

·  Remote sales engineer supporting Ciena’s emerging ICP, DCO and CDO customers.

·  Serve as a customer-facing primary contact for advanced technical issues.

·  Ability to understand network architectures and their building blocks.

·  Utilize Ciena’s design and modeling tools to model optical network architectures.

·  Assist in the preparation of quotes, RFx's responses, and forecasts.

·  Understand and assist customers in their API and software integration efforts.  

·  Collect and assist in the assessment of new product features.

·  Manage and track customer requests and help coordinate sales activities.

·  Assist Customer Product and Technology solution discussions and presentations

·  Support in the development of pricing strategies and incentives to win business

·  Assist in tracking of product deliverables and communicating issues to regional teams

·  Lead the transition of customers from end-of life products to other Ciena solutions.

·  Plan and support product certification, acceptance testing, and network introduction activities. 

·  Make independent decisions on routine technical activities in accordance with company policy and procedures.

·  Travel (up to 50%) to customers sites, R&D locations and technical conferences for customer engagements, technical discussions and presentations.

·  Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

·  Building network cost models that drive optimization of network designs.

·  Understanding basic concepts of Data Center architectures, spine and leaf designs, edge networking, routing, switching, and optical transport.

·  Basic understanding of Automation SW architecture, common workflows, ZTP methods, DCN networking, APIs, and networking models.

·  Familiarity with cloud architecture and deploying/running applications in a cloud environment. 

·  Construction of product feature/price analysis spreadsheets

·  Sales opportunity and quote tool experience a plus

·  Project management and organizational skills

·  Problem-solving and communication skills

You Have:   

• 5+ years of experience working with Software Defined Radios (SDRs), Wireless Communications Product (WCPs), and Radio Frequency (RF) technologies
• 3+ years of experience as a Training Instructor of DoD military and civilian support personnel
• Experience using audio/visual (A/V) applications such as Adobe Express, Apple Keynote, or Articulate 300 to transform training materials into a format suitable for web-based training while ensuring compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
• Experience evaluating student performance, maintaining accurate student records, identifying remedial procedures to retake training, completing all required administrative activities, soliciting feedback from course attendees, and reporting recommendations for course improvement
• Knowledge of waveform application software and associated waveform technologies including definition, design, development, testing, deployment, and acquisition regarding the Department of Defense (DoD)
• Ability to build and deliver course content from foundational information through advanced concepts, and identify and implement improvements to existing training materials

ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Colleague Communications & Engagement (CC&E) will report to the Director of CC&E and support the Global Oncology organization.

This position will support the Pfizer Oncology Division in developing and executing communications content and strategies that shape the culture of Oncology and enhance the organization’s ability to meet and exceed its business goals.  These strategies should connect Oncology colleagues to the Oncology and larger Pfizer vision, goals, and values while also continuing to meet day-to-day company information sharing needs.  This role will also have special focus on an Oncology Leadership Team (LT) member, as well as support other LT members on an as needed basis. 

Partnering closely with the Director of CC&E; HR; External Communications and other internal communications leads across businesses as needed), this individual will develop and oversee leader communications for an LT member encompassing town hall meetings and events, internal social media, content and creation for diverse communication campaigns and updates. 

The Senior Manager will also support creation of new communications channels, improvement or consolidation of existing ones, and the production of best-in-class engagement activities.

The senior manager will also develop and implement content for communications news vehicles (e.g., newsletters, ongoing updates), and graphical elements; and will liaise with the PfizerWorld editor on Oncology’s representation in enterprise communications.

The person in this position will be responsible for understanding and regularly using relevant operational systems, platforms and tools, including intranet sites, the Viva Engage (i.e., internal Yammer) platform, and e-mail and other distribution tools. 

This role will collaborate and coordinate closely with HR and the external communications leads, as well as those leading internal communications across the enterprise and specific businesses, to ensure coherent, aligned and mutually-reinforcing messaging that amplifies Oncology’s voice.  

This is a role for an experienced communicator with organizational and leader experience as well.  This is a creative, energized individual who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on doer.

The role encompasses:

• Providing strategic guidance to leaders and their teams to help produce clear, compelling, and engaging communications that align with Pfizer’s and Oncology’s goals and the Pfizer Purpose Blueprint

• Managing and implementing colleague communications for the business including culture and change management communications and leader communications to drive understanding of and excitement about business priorities, key initiatives, and the cultural underpinnings of the business.

• Partnering with External Communications, business and Enterprise Colleague Communications & Engagement, HR, Corporate Affairs colleagues, and Digital to ensure alignment with Pfizer’s colleague engagement priorities.

• Collaborate and provide input on content & channel strategy to evolve the practice of internal communications of the new Oncology Division, including initiating and/or partnering on projects such as a merged Oncology intranet and unified Oncology Yammer platform.

• Providing counsel to senior leaders, and guidance to managers and colleagues while driving execution of organization initiatives.

• Will oversee help build a sustainable framework for the above internal communications guidance and support. 

The broader team of which this role is a member ensures the correct messaging of programs, processes, and initiatives in alignment with Corporate Affairs and Legal/Compliance priorities and strategies, and ensures processes and programs are strategically implemented and communicated in an effective and consistent manner, and aligned with the business in a manner that is cohesive, effective, and when applicable – compelling and engaging for colleagues.  

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Manager of Colleague Communications and Engagement (CC&E) will report to the Director of CC&E and work in close partnership with External Communications, HR, Corporate Affairs and Legal organizations to ensure programs are delivered and aligned with business strategies and priorities.

• Support the Director of CC&E in the development and execution of internal communications and colleague engagement strategies.

• Develop and edit content for internal communications using the internal “PfizerWorld” intranet platform as well as Viva Engage (i.e. Yammer) and/or Teams, newsletters, e-signs, leader communications, FAQs, and other creative modes of messaging to ensure colleagues are kept informed and engaged.  

• Develop (and distribute, as appropriate) messages, announcements, events, presentations, and other communication vehicles to drive engagement around Pfizer’s Purpose Blueprint company values and Oncology imperatives.

• Develop creative solutions and support senior leaders in effectively driving colleague communications and engagement.

• Develop initiatives that will help unleash the power of our people and ensure a positive and inclusive work environment and experience for all colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS in Communications, or related field that stresses writing, content comprehension and analysis, required.

• Minimum eight years of Communications experience.

• Must be a creative and strategic thinker with a talent for developing communications plans and initiatives that drive colleague engagement and enhance their experience.

• Must be experienced in supporting leadership.

• Solid expertise in communications core competencies with experience in improving processes.

• Experience in external aspects of corporate communications are a plus, including media relations, crisis management and executive positioning.

• Commitment to editorial excellence – writing, editing, and proofreading skills as well as journalistic ability to source stories.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix team environment.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and respond back in a timely manner.

• Project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills required along with strong process skills. Any type of continuous improvement experiences a plus.

• A strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information.

Key Role:

Design and manage verbal and written communications, traditional and social media, outreach strategies, and innovative approaches to reach key stakeholders. Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with leading defense strategic communications, engagement planning, and outreach projects or activities for the DoD

• 5+ years of experience with strategic engagement and communications planning, management, measurement, and analysis

• 3+ years of experience with graphic design, including content development for public-facing websites, SharePoint sites, and social media platforms

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite to develop marketing materials, including brochures, pamphlets, fliers, trade show booths, or advertisements for print or broadcast media

• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Experience with designing websites for a DoD organization and writing and editing, including tailoring content to different audiences' needs and level of comprehension

The Sr. Specialist, Internal Communications & Channels will be a member of the Corporate Communication team. Responsibilities will include helping manage the company’s internal communications and channel strategy which will include a need for mastering the intranet’s CMS (Content Management System), helping drive content governance and compliance, and managing a global group of content intranet editors. The role will also include supporting corporate enterprise initiatives, including but not limited to corporate award program planning and administration, and event planning support. In collaboration with NA Region leaders and the Corporate Communications team, the Senior Manager, NA Region Communications will ensure internal communications strategies are designed and executed to progress agreed business objectives with associates, and drive growth and integration activities across the region. This person will be responsible for enhancing internal communications tools and channels that effectively engage sales leaders and field-based associates throughout the country as well as the broader region associate base, while conducting ongoing measurement of content and channels to inform future approaches.

Primary Responsibilities

• As the lead NA Region communicator, manage all communications for the President of the North America Region including employee engagement communications through a variety of unique vehicles and approaches, customer communications and presentations, and social media content for personal and company channels, i.e. intranet, LinkedIn, etc.

• Create regional message tracks and content in support of relevant content pillars that align with and complement BD corporate and BU-specific messages and themes. El (la) Document & Label Clerk Operator en el 2nd shift, realizara tareas en el área de “Document Center & Label Issuance” de acuerdo con los procesos, políticas y procedimientos establecidos referente a la impresión de Documentación de “LHR’s” e impresión de etiquetas. Trabajará con el supervisor y lider para lograr que la operación de Document Control sea eficiente. Deberá conocer los procesos de documentación, manufactura y políticas establecidas en las áreas relacionadas a manufactura y/o etiquetados para ejecutar de ser necesario.

Funciones Esenciales del Trabajo:

• Realizar la limpieza de área de trabajo, equipos y materiales, para cumplir con los diferentes procesos

• Organizar el área de trabajo de acuerdo con el proceso trabajado

• Documentar, Inspeccionar e imprimir la generación de etiquetas de acuerdo con el procedimiento establecido.

• Responsable de la creación, generación e impresión de toda documentación requerida para el contenido de “LHR’s” según el “Master List” aplicable.  

• Responsable de auditar la documentación generada del “Master List” y confirmar que toda documentación y/o especificación este en cumplimiento de la revisión vigente según sistema.

• Asegurar la segregación y almacenamiento correcto de documentación, materiales impresos y/o etiquetas según los procedimientos establecidos.

• Responsable de revisar y auditar toda documentación recibida así como los Log’s aplicables.

• Reportar al supervisor cualquier discrepancia, documento que no cumpla con las especificaciones, desviaciones a procedimientos, mal funcionamiento de equipo y/o cualquier incidente ocurrido en el área  que pueda afectar las operaciones de manufactura y/o los asociados.

• Trabajar mano a mano el adiestramiento “OJT”. Asegura que todos los requisitos de adiestramiento estén completos y documentados antes de realizar cualquier operación.

• Reportar cualquier discrepancia al Supervisor/Gerente del área para materiales, procesos, procedimientos, equipos, EHS o cualquier situación que ocurra en el área y que pueda afectar las operaciones ejecutadas y/o algún asociado.

• Cumplir con los cGMP’s, Equipo de Protección Personal (PPE’s) correctos, Estándares de Calidad (“Quality Standard”), políticas y procedimientos.

• Ejecutar otras funciones requeridas por el supervisor y/o designado de así ser requerido.

REQUERIMIENTOS MÍNIMOS

Educación / Experiencia:

• Diploma de Escuela Superior o equivalente.

• Mínimo tres (3) años de experiencia en un ambiente de manufactura regulado.

Cualificaciones Básicas:

• Buenas destrezas de comunicación (oral y escrita).

• Buenas habilidades interpersonales para manejar diferentes tareas al mismo tiempo.

• Alta iniciativa para alcanzar metas con sentido de urgencia.

• Habilidad para adiestrar.

• Habilidades Manuales para operar herramientas y objetos pequeños.

• Visión 20/20 o visión corregida.

• Habilidad de trabajar el Segundo Turno (2nd shift)

• Habilidad para seguir instrucciones.

• Habilidad para inspeccionar, organizar, interpretar, leer, copia, memorizar y documentar.

• Habilidad para aprender, aplicar e interpretar rápidamente los procesos departamentales.

• Orientado al trabajo en equipo.

• Destrezas de Computadora (MS Word, MS, Excel, MS Outlook).

• Conocimiento básico del idioma inglés.

• Conocimiento de cGMP’s y Estándares de Calidad (“Quality Standards”).

That’s why we need you, an Organizational Change Management and Transformation Lead, who can learn how to analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the strategy and roadmap to becoming the organization they envision.

As an organizational change management and communications consultant on our team, you’ll have a direct impact on how our clients envision, define, and implement transformational changes for organizations focused on promoting resilience. You’ll engage with your customers to analyze their environment and produce organizational alternatives design and analysis, stakeholder analysis, change management, and strategic communications that enable an organization to accelerate the adoption of change. You know change management isn’t a one-size-fits-all concept, so you’ll use your experience with organizational change models, including how a change will impact business processes, combined with a deep understanding of the Resilience mission space to create a customized action plan. You’ll analyze stakeholder needs and barriers to change to facilitate organizational transformations. You’ll be a strategic communicator experienced in developing messaging, materials, and products that are creative and reach your target audience using traditional and social media and all types of stakeholder engagement. You’ll be a seasoned project manager able to manage client expectations and lead a team. Throughout the change life cycle, you’ll identify and communicate opportunities to expand services to existing clients. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

• 15+ years of experience working on large-scale transformation efforts in the federal, state, or local government on resilience, disaster management, or sustainability issues
• Experience with managing and inspiring a team of staff to peak performance
• Experience working with Senior leaders
• Knowledge of change management methodologies and tools, including Prosci or LaMarsh
• Knowledge of traditional and social marketing techniques for stakeholder engagement
• Ability to craft and develop communications using data-driven approaches and project management skills
