As the Director, Identity Assurance you are responsible for providing executive leadership and direction in the establishment and maintenance of a Service-wide strategy that ensures consistent oversight of all authentication and authorization needs across IRS functions and programs, ensuring the establishment of a secure environment for taxpayers to interact with the IRS.

As the Director Identity Assurance your duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Serves as consultant and principal advisor to senior management on all matters relating to identity assurance needs across IRS functions and programs.
