Your New Role:
We are currently looking to appoint a new SEN Science Teacher to join our amazing team at our unique outdoor setting to students aged 11-19 in our growing Leicestershire setting based near Loughborough on a full time, permanent basis.

Strong Induction Process

This post is a crucial one to the school. We buck national trends in terms of student performance in Science. All of our KS3 students receive three lessons of Science per week, with around 20% of students choosing to study separate sciences at GCSE. The results that students achieve, either for Combined Science or separate Sciences, are excellent. You will work closely with the Head of Science and the other members of the team. Our 2024 results were, again, very strong. Progress 8 for all students was +0.34, with almost 50% of students achieving a Grade 5 in English & Maths. As has been the case for many years now, all of our headline measures are well above national averages. We are committed to improving yet again this academic year, and we are determined to do so.
