The primary purpose of this position is: an Air Reserve Technician (ART), to manage the unit Air Transportation Quality Assurance program and assist the aerial port senior ART in managing day to day activities. As a Lead Transportation Security Officer (LTSO), you will be responsible for leading at least three full-performance level Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) and, as assigned, trainee and apprentice level TSOs. The incumbent is also responsible for working with state Veterans and Transportation Agencies and local transportation providers to establish expanded transportation networks to improve Veterans access to care.

This Transportation Security Inspector position is located in Charlotte/Douglas International Airport (CLT), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Transportation Security Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring security compliance of persons and transportation systems and entities regulated under the Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1500 series. You will perform selected assignments and progressively responsible inspection work such as:

• Conducting less complex inspections or portions of more complex inspections.
• Applying basic technical inspection knowledge acquired in formal core training and on-the-job training (OJT), along with any limited experience gained prior to or after such training.

DUTIES:

1.
