• You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of an organization’s programs and administrative operations.

• You will be considered an expert for Surface Warfare Military Construction (MILCON) and Infrastructure requirements and program assessment issues.
• You will monitor and analyze the current status of all Programs of Record of interest to Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (CNSL); COMNAVSURFOR and the Surface enterprise.
• You will maintain liaison with points of contact at OPNAV, USFFC, TYCOMs, Numbered Fleet Commands, System Commands, and other Federal departments and agencies.
• You will contribute to the development of the COMNAVSURFOR Integrated Prioritized Capabilities List (IPCL) and annual Surface Master Plan (SMP) Letter for MILCON/Infrastructure.
• You will participate in the development, communication, and implementation of MILCON and other infrastructure requirements supporting Surface Force warfighting capabilities short and long-term (5+years) budget, and tactical goals.
• You will analyze, refine or develop and implement more specific guidelines or methods necessary to improve program measurement, effectiveness and productivity.
• You will advocate new and innovative warfare requirement programs within COMNAVSURFOR and CNSL for potential force wide implementation.

• You will perform tasks associated with the Joint Safety and Environmental Professional Development Symposium.
• You will serve as NAVSAFENVTRACEN student control officer, administrative assistant and audio visual coordinator.
• You will develop course rosters for the NAVSAFENVTRACEN Training Departments.
• You will troubleshoot quota request problems and assist instructors in obtaining student rosters using the Enterprise Navy Training Reservation System.
• You will receive course convening data (drop/fail records, walk-ins and no-shows) from course mangers and add information to Chronological Training Schedule.
• You will release course schedules and quotas according to command policy.
• You will perform normal administrative tasks associated with this position, e.g. emails, filing, attending meetings and conferences.

• You will establish and direct the operation of the overall asbestos and insulation program.
• You will resolve work problems.
• You will inspect jobs in progress to make sure they comply with all pertinent safety and environmental regulations.

This Transportation Security Manager position is located at Norfolk International Airport (ORF), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Managing screening checkpoints that are central to TSA objectives that serve to protect the traveling public by preventing any deadly or dangerous objects from being transported onto an aircraft.
• Recognizing and recommending correction of improper use or application of equipment, providing guidance to subordinates, and answering routine questions presented by subordinates.
