A day in the life of a Murphy Design Engineer


- To design protection and control system according to project specific requirements for electrical substation up to a voltage of 400kV
- Prepare single line diagram and key line diagram of substation project.
- To prepare project specific electrical design for plants like circuit breaker, disconnector, earth switch etc. Design should be in line with generic drawing from OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

A day in the life of a Murphy Senior Utility Surveyor

- Undertaking of high-quality utility surveys in a variety of environments using the latest EM and GPR technologies and equipment available.
- Site visits and client meetings to assist in job quotations and tendering stage of larger projects.
- Advising projects in the wider business on best survey methods to meet project requirements.
- Handling, processing, and interpreting geospatial data within the sub-surface environment
- Supporting other team members and survey specialisms of the Geomatics team as and when required.
- Using your survey knowledge and experience to help influence, shape and evolve the utility survey capability as a core service within the geomatics team to sit alongside the other established survey specialisms.
- Engaging with and developing your own skillsets in similar survey specialisms to be able to provide project support to other team members as and when required, such as 3D Laser Scanning, UAV Surveying, Rail Surveying & Monitoring, Dimensional Control & Setting Out.
- QCF3/QCF5 highly desirable but not a requirement
- Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of GPR and underground surveying
- Ability to use EML and GPR with high proficiency

Business Development Specialist – Healthcare Value Solutions

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our Healthcare Value Solutions team here at Fresenius Medical care.

In this role, you will support the identification, pursuit, and securing of new business opportunities within the healthcare and NHS landscape. Your responsibilities will include strategic and operational support to drive growth, retain customers, and expand our market presence. What does the role involve?

You will:
* Provide support for the Value Solutions team, including handling sales activities such as lead generation, opportunity tracking, and sales forecasting.
* Assist Value Solution Managers in coordinating business retention and development opportunities.
* Support the Value Solutions Modelling Lead in refining pricing models and developing business cases.
* Prepare and present detailed data analysis to inform decision-making and strategy formulation.
* Lead the development of value tools, including tracking activities, analysing data, and providing growth insights to the sales team.
* Monitor tenders, track CRM reporting, and provide actionable insights to the Value Solutions team.
* Track and analyse pricing trends, offering data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing strategies.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regional and national healthcare bodies (NHSE, ICS, HSE, etc.).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to support business growth and streamline operations.

About You, you will:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Sciences, or a related field.
* 2-3 years of experience in a business development, sales support, or data analysis role, ideally within the healthcare or public sector.
* Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement processes, and healthcare regulatory frameworks is highly advantageous.
* Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and delivering insights to inform business strategies.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and advanced knowledge of Excel and Office Suite.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI), Machine Learning, and advanced analytics tools is a plus.
* Willing to travel within the UK & Ireland, including nights away from home and hold a Full UK Drivers Licence.

Shaw is now recruiting for a Contracts Administrator. The Contracts Administrators primary function will be to act as the main point contact between Shaw healthcare’s services and the finance function in Shaw’s head office ensuring all contractual documentation is in place for each individuals admission to one of Shaw services.
The Successful person will also be expected to:

Establish (and thereafter maintain) an electronic database of contracts;
Assist Shaw’s Corporate Counsel in legal document retrieval and simple legal review (finding relevant terms etc.);
Providing administrative support to the Head of Commercial Operations and the Commercial & Development Director (when required).

Job Outline

Main point of contact with Shaw services and the Finance Department for standard form admission contracts.
Collating documents and chasing for completed contract return.
Updating key fields in MS Word and Excel.
Reading understanding and being familiar with the Shaw group’s major contracts
Answering queries on basic contract terms in consultation with Corporate Counsel (where necessary).
Maintaining an up to date diary of all tasks and obligations, monitoring progress towards objectives within the applicable contractual timescales.
Preparing standard correspondence and composing routine letters.
Typing and updating complex documents and correspondence.
Being responsible for electronic contract storage (including scanning). To also include historic documents (where appropriate).
