About the role

Ensure the management of documents and records for our site, in compliance with License Condition 6: Documents, Records, Authorities & Certificates through effective document control processes and procedures using the company Electronic Document and Record Management Systems (EDRMS).

Principal Accountabilities

• Complete the quality assurance of contractor deliverable submissions, to provide an auditable trail for all documentation within the Electronic Document and Record Management Systems (EDRMS).
• Support the integration of HPC EDRMS with its wider information management needs.
• Comply with HPC's approved processes and procedures.
• Champion best practice Document Management across the DDC Team and HPC project.
• Maintain a focus on continuous improvement to DDC performance, processes, and procedures.
• Use TcRA to interpret management reports on internal and external performance.
• Maintain an active awareness of new developments in the document control space and raise potential improvements to the LDC.
• Represent the DDC Team at Programme and / or contract level meetings as and when required.

This will include demonstrating compliance with the terms of all safeguarding policies and processes relevant to the safeguarding of adults and children in the care of GHNHSFT and to undergo regular mandatory training concerned with safeguarding matters. - In conjunction with their manager, identify training needs of self, participating in clinical audit and quality projects which contribute to the departmental education programme. - Report near misses and untoward incidents, complaints, clinical emergencies, injury or medicine administration errors as detailed in the departmental and Trust protocols. Assist lead staff in investigating incidents as required. - Maintain and contribute to the development of standards of practice, conduct or decision making in conjunction with lead staff. - Ensure a smart, professional image that enhances the public perception of the Trust and the professionalism of its staff is portrayed. Education and Training - Facilitate regular learning sessions for midwifery students also incorporating a CLIP and a learn by teaching type approach whereby with your guidance senior students facilitate sessions for junior students. - Supporting clinical staff in the implementation of NMC Education and Practice Supervision and Assessment standards in clinical areas, facilitating uptake at ward level and ensuring within the midwifery preceptorship period newly qualified Midwives are supported to do their training. - Support Practice Supervisors and Practice Assessors to support their teaching and assessment skills and develop their confidence. - Design and deliver training sessions and comprehensive presentations to staff and students across the Trust, promoting evidenced based practice and assisting in the development of new and improved practices. - Ensure comprehensive evaluation of content, methods of delivery and impact occurs which informs subsequent delivery. - Ensure practice educators are educated and developed to support midwifery learners in practice. - Ensure sufficient, suitably prepared practice educators are available to support practice learning and maintain an up to date data register for the organisation which reflects the needs of the learner numbers and placements. - Work with academic colleagues from higher and further education providing training (such as mandatory updates) and practice support to ensure registered practitioners are supported to act as appropriate practice educators to midwifery students. - Undertake all mandatory training.

The Role

Job Title: Hospital Inreach Link Worker

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

We are looking for a Hospital Inreach Link Worker to join our Safe Spaces team in Gloucestershire.

The P3 Safe Spaces service provides a short term multi-agency assessment in a safe environment. Patients admitted to emergency departments at Gloucestershire hospitals have a much lower rate of re-admission when they engage with P3 accommodation and assessment services.

You will be the single point of contact for homeless patients admitted to Gloucestershire hospitals, ensuring that effective support is provided to anyone admitted to emergency departments with no fixed place stay. You will work closely with other P3 services and wider partner agencies to facilitate access to suitable accommodation and support.

We are looking for someone who is flexible in their approach and confident in managing their own workload in an environment where no two days are the same. You will be able to effectively communicate with a variety of agencies including Hospitals, Local Authorities, P3 Services, amongst many others. Knowledge of support services in the county would be an advantage but you will be provided with full training.
