Each room contains a television point, nurse call system, telephone point, fire detection, bed, wardrobe, arm chair, chest of drawers, central heating with thermostatic controls and safety guards. Residents can enjoy the well maintained garden with a large patio area, as well as the landscaped gardens and conservatory. Parking is available for 12 cars.

Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing we are currently recruiting a Support Worker based in Macclesfield to support a male on a 1-1 basis in his own home. He enjoys going into the local area and exploring, he enjoys going to the local coffee shop and spending time people watching. This young man enjoys chatting, getting to know people, and wanting to explore more activities since being discharged from hospital. The young man wants to build on his independence skills and we are looking for staff who can support in this area and have a 'can do attitude' He will need support with maintaining his own home, and supporting with appointments.

Provide holistic care for Children/Young people (CYP) with a Learning Disability and/or complex health needs this may include those with Autism only. The post is multi role, therefore all aspects of duties will be carried out e.g., playing with children, driving minibus, domestic cleaning, laundry, cooking, shopping, etc To support enhanced packages of care in a variety of settings to prevent and avoid inappropriate hospital admissions To be skilled in a wide range of specific clinical/behavioural Interventions, e.g., enteral feeding, Catheterisation, behaviour management and epilepsy management Act as named Nurse in respite for allocated CYP. Developing good relationships with the family and the wider MDT. To assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing and clinical care plans in collaboration with CYP, family and the wider MDT Awareness of National and local policy and the implications for service delivery and own actions. To administer medication in line with CWPT policy. Understand the pharmacology of medicines, use of as required medicines. Transcribe medication onto administration sheets and assist in writing of specific health protocols for as required drugs. Carry out all relevant aspects of care mostly without direct supervision adhering to CWPT policy/procedure and NMC guidelines. Respond quickly and appropriately to constantly changing situations amidst frequent interruptions and distractions. To work in partnership with other agencies and organisations. Ensure that dignity, choice, respect, independence, and the rights of the people that we support are maintained at all times. Lead the team on duty, confident delegation to ensure that the service delivers high quality care. To represent the service at internal and external meetings.

Alder Ward, is a 24 bedded unit based in the market town of Norwich , with easy access to Norwich City and the North Norfolk coasts. As well as rehabilitation the unit also provides palliative and end of life care when Alder ward is the preferred place of care. Main Responsibilities Be responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of care to a named group of patients Work effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. Work proactively within the team to achieve unit and trust goals and objectives. Work with and promote recognised policies, protocols and guidelines Flexible working and working hours We have posts available from 23 to 37.5 hours per week, so let us know the contracted hours which suit you. The working day is split in to two 11.5 hour shifts, a night from 19:00 to 07:30 and a day from 07:00 to 19:30. The shifts are rostered on a rotational basis across seven days including bank holidays. We offer the right to request flexible working from your first day of employment including fixed shift patterns and will endeavour to honour any flexible working agreements made with your current employer. Training opportunities We welcome staff who are open to learning new skills such as venepuncture, male and female catheterisation, PEG feeding and ECG recording. To assist you in doing this you will receive support and development through in service training, annual appraisals, a personal development plan and regular clinical supervision.
