The principal purpose of this job is to support the team to improve the psychological health and wellbeing of people and their families who are being supported within the Haldon Eating Disorder Service and the proposed Assertive Outreach/Intensive Treatment programme which will be led by the Haldon team. This will be achieved in this post through undertaking the following areas of responsibility: 1. Under supervision, contributing to psychological assessment and individual, family or group interventions as appropriate. 2. Under supervision, contribute to the multidisciplinary therapeutic programme on the Haldon and, when operating, the Assertive Outreach programme which will involve travel around Devon and use of virtual platforms for online sessions. 3. Providing support to the Haldon Eating Disorder Senior Leadership Team in terms of developing and undertaking additional audit and research activities. 4. More detail about the role The Band 4 Assistant Practitioner will be working alongside the MDT to provide intensive stroke specific therapy based on goals identified by the patient within their own home or other non acute placements. Your key role will be to provide support and education for patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD) and their families/ carers. Working for ESS as our Branch Assistant will require you to be a bit of an all-rounder, someone who enjoys variety in their day to day.
Our branches are often fast paced, dealing with customers face to face, over the telephone, or by email and processing orders and customer returns. Your role will be to help with all of this so you could be on the counter dealing with customers, carrying out inspections and testing our equipment before and after each hire to ensure the safety and quality of our equipment, and occasionally, delivering or collecting equipment from our customers.
Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues alike
• The role requires an effective communicator, who can alert the line manager to new sites and potential new customers.
• Responsible for appropriate branch presentation
• Accountable for maintaining the equipment and the branch to a standard that complies with/exceeds all current Health and Safety at Work legislation
• Ensure all kit is stored correctly and easily accessible
• Ensure vehicles are always loaded safely and in line with company procedures
• Carry out daily compliance and H&S checks, as directed
• Assist and attend stock takes as required
• Cover deliveries and collections when essential to business demands
