• Maintain an accurate and current filing system in electronic record systems.
• Check in patients attending their Preoperative Assessment appointment, update patient details on EPR, print wristbands and put on patients explaining the process, checking name and date of birth.
• Ensure patients complete questionnaires where necessary.
• Request urine sample from patients that require one, offering guidance of testing location.
• Complete the clinic prep process ensuring everything is present for the patient’s appointment.
• Act upon queries from referrers, patients, and other relevant parties in liaison with clinical staff.

• Liaise with multidisciplinary team to assist the prioritisation of clinical procedures
• Book procedure arrangements into EPR and other systems at times appropriate to individual patient request, clinical priority and procedure & electro-medical equipment availability.

We’re looking for a Junior Butler to provide Maternity cover on a Pro-rata basis at a well-known college in central Oxford. You will be required 39 hours per week including working weekends, evenings and split shifts on 5 days out of 7 working week.

Key Duties To work within the Scope of Practice for Mammography Associates/Assistant Practitioners in Breast Imaging and undertake screening and symptomatic mammograms in the static and mobile clinics. To assist in interventional procedures (core biopsies, vacuum assisted core biopsies and localisations) as required, including preparation of procedure trolley and support of patient undergoing procedure. Complete QA testing on a daily, weekly and monthly basis at the static and mobile units. To process and prepare images and paperwork for clinical reporting. To ensure safe use of imaging and other equipment used in the department. To manipulate heavy machinery and be required to manoeuvre clients/patients who are unable to move. To be hoist trained and be confident when utilizing this equipment. The post holder will be required to manoeuvre wheelchairs and have a high level of dexterity when working in the various clinics. To explain to clients and patients the preparatory requirements regarding undressing/dressing and assisting them when necessary. To show compassion, sensitivity and understand the anxiety and fear prior to the clients/patients procedure. To exercise discretion and maintain patient confidentiality, dignity and privacy at all times. To demonstrate good communication skills when dealing with clients, patients, relatives and members of the Multidisciplinary Team, utilising sensitivity, empathy and the ability to manage conflict.
