The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time position as a Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer (dependent upon experience) in Radiography (Diagnostic Imaging) in the School of Allied Health Professions, to teach across the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. The School offers high quality AHP undergraduate and postgraduate provision and is part of a wider research community via the Faculty Research Institutes.

BSc (Hons) Radiography (Diagnostic Imaging) has been consistently recognised as high quality by our graduating students, as well as with employers. Enjoying excellent facilities, students study in a bespoke digital Diagnostic Imaging Suite with state-of-the-art simulation facilities such as a working theatre and CT, and bespoke digital health hub for image interpretation. Students also all have inter-professional educational opportunities with other Faculty of Medicine and Health Science students. The Radiography programme is newly revalidated with the addition of an apprentice route (radiography and assistant practitioner routes). Additionally, the MSc Medical Imaging will launch in 2025 with multi-disciplinary ultrasound provision. These opportunities offer exciting prospects to individuals wishing to further their scholarship and research activities as well as widen their teaching and learning skills.

You will be a Master’s level ultrasound radiographer UK HCPC registration with teaching and research or scholarship experience within Higher Education (or at a similar level of engagement within the clinical environment). A Senior Lecturer applicant would have additional experience of leadership within education programmes, academic mentorship of colleagues and experience of providing strategic vision leadership in the development of educational programmes and enterprise.

The opportunity
 

Reporting to the Senior Managing Director (MD), the Executive Assistant (EA) is accountable for providing a full scope of support to the executive and their direct reports including being the primary contact for those seeking information or access to the SMD, strategic / complex project management, and office management. The Executive Assistant will need a base understanding of the organization and its partners to ensure absolute efficiency in carrying out their responsibilities.
 

This position will function with minimal supervision and requires a high degree of independence, tact, initiative, discretion and judgment. The EA will represent the SMD to internal and external parties and provide administrative support including managing / coordinating meetings and calendars; compile, edit and finalize executive correspondences and presentations’ coordinate conference logistics and complex international travel arrangements.

 Account Executive (AE), Canada

The Account Executive (AE) role is centered around customer success and sales execution for Canada as a Sales territory. The AE is responsible for all incoming and retained revenue from the assigned accounts. She/he is the main point of contact for any customer training service requests. GENERAL OVERVIEW:

As a member of the health care team, assists in coordinating the examination, treatment and health care planning for patients, under the direction of the provider. Also assists with other office functions to support patient care and office operations. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares and rooms patients within the clinical practice setting according to standardized work flows. Accurately obtains patient vital signs. Accurately documents patient information, patient history, and medication screening. Prepares exam room for patient visit. Completes annual wellness visit screenings, pends orders for required age appropriate screenings and may serve as a scribe with additional training.
• Acts as an electronic health record (EHR) superuser. Accurately documents all pertinent details in the  EHR according to established standards and work flows including all pertinent patient interactions at the time of the encounter in the correct EHR note type. Reviews, updates and screens medication list in the EHR. Reviews problem list and social history with patient and updates record. Follows Meaningful Use standards and assists with population health management.
• Assists in the coordination of patient care under supervision of the assigned health care provider. Assists providers with examination and procedures. Assists in administration of depression screening, tobacco screening, chronic disease screening and MU required screenings. Performs in-house testing following established protocols and policies. Assists with patient prescription needs based on established protocols.
• Provides clinical leadership oversight, serving as a department resource for clinical questions.
• Reviews pre-visit planning documentation and patient chart in advance of appointment time to ensure that the provider is prepared to address required screenings and gaps in care.
• In collaboration with the care team nurse, provides follow up with patient at designated intervals via patient preferred method (telephone, electronic, written) in accordance with prescribed provider instructions. Notifies patients of test results under the direction of provider in a timely manner.
• Ensures adequate inventory of medical supplies. Ensures all patient treatment areas are always stocked with the appropriate supplies using established inventory standards. QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• One year certificate from college or technical school, or at least three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years as a Medical Assistant
• Newly hired medical assistants must complete training and/or attempt testing within 30 days of hire; newly hired medical assistants must obtain certification within 120 days of hire.
• Medical assistants must achieve and maintain certification in accordance with CMS Meaningful Use requirements.
• CPR certification.

How You Will Contribute:

As an Electro-optics Hardware Designer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-speed electro-optics components for the receiver optical-to-electrical (Rx OE) modem subsystem in Ciena’s coherent Wavelogic products.  In this role, you’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary modem integration team to drive a wide range of innovative electro-optic technologies in a world-class R&D lab environment.  

The successful candidate will

• Own and document requirements for Wavelogic modem analog coherent receiver hardware elements, including silicon photonic electro-optic functions, BiCMOS/CMOS amplifiers, and the physical realization of the receiver chain including digital control and transitions between the elements.

• Own the concatenated Rx OE modem subsystem RF response and coordinate/allocate subcomponent RF requirements.

• Collaborate with internal and external electro-optic component suppliers to define component specifications and the required performance characterization/verification against the specifications.

• Work within an interdisciplinary modem integration team consisting of systems, test, ADC, DSP, PCB, firmware, production, and product engineers.

• Work with factory component and modem test engineers to optimize existing test methods and design new methods.

• Interpret wafer, device, and modem factory test data to identify problems and help devise solutions.

• Provide mentorship for testing prototypes in the lab to validate designs.

What You’ll Be Doing  

This is an exciting time to be joining CIBC’s Infrastructure Technology team. We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer who brings experience specifically in working with Microsoft Azure. This role is for someone who is passionate about building innovative solutions with new challenges and technologies while making an impact.

The Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer is responsible for providing technical recommendations and subject matter expertise to ensure stable, reliable production and non-production environments for complex sharing initiatives in compliance with established controls, standards, policies, and procedures. The role collaborates with and advises senior management, utilizing a solid understanding of business dynamics to analyze and protect production and non-production environment integrity and mitigate risks, present and recommend solutions using available resources for complex initiatives with key dependencies. The Senior Consultant, Cloud Engineering provides technical leadership, interpreting complex information and coordinating client, provider, and vendor relationships to meet and manage service expectations, aligned to best practices. In addition, the role participates in the development of the team to maximize individual contributions and professional growth, functioning effectively with colleagues.

How You’ll Succeed  

• Leadership & Communication: Provide technical leadership during the design, build, configuration, implementation and maintenance phases of major public and private Cloud technologies and automation tooling in a multi-platform environment. Lead the evaluation, selection and implementation of new and emerging products and techniques; support the development of business/technology proposals by estimating implementation costs and evaluating options. • Governance: Proactively contribute to governance initiatives in the development of company policies, audit requirements etc. Provide technical or business guidance to clients within and outside your own department.  

• Engineering: Provide automation expertise within core automation DevOps tool chain and orchestration expertise in Provisioning and Public Cloud.  Determine standards and roadmaps for hardware and software. Decide how infrastructure is built and recommends Cloud-based standards for organization wide initiatives based on area of expertise. Conduct major studies regarding system usage, make recommendations for improvements, and determine infrastructure system requirements. Design, develop and test emerging Cloud-based software solutions. Provide ongoing analysis and evaluation of test plan, all additions and changes to ensure they are introduced in a manner that protects the integrity of the environment and mitigates risks. Provide in-depth subject matter expertise to perform broad impact analysis, present alternative solutions, and make recommendations for complex initiatives and projects. Work with the Enterprise Architecture team on identifying requirements and design for continuous evolution of Cloud-based solutions. Manage clients, providers and vendor relationships to ensure service expectations are understood, managed and met. Support both production and non-production Cloud platform environments and hosted applications. Implement production and non-production changes to Cloud platforms and applications following established change management policies.

Who You Are  

• You can demonstrate experience in design, implementation and support of technologies and technology-based solutions on Cloud platforms.

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience is required. Understanding of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies, terminologies and ceremonies is mandatory.

• Experience in ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure is required, while additional experience in Amazon Web Services is preferred. Proficiency with tools such as GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Delivery (CD) systems is required. Strong technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in Microsoft's Azure, ARM Templating, Azure DevOps Pipeline implementation of “infrastructure as code” deliveries, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), and monitoring/hardening/policing/templating/delivery of Azure Services will be key to your success. Proficiency with Bicep, JSON and PowerShell scripting is a must.

• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and network and security related solutions is required. Technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in Windows Server, Linux/Unix and Middleware tier is required. Experience with Azure Firewalls, ExpressRoute & IPSec Tunnels, Virtual WAN, WAF, Network Security Groups (NSG) and other network and security components of Azure will be valuable. Microsoft Azure certifications, as well as ITIL certifications would be considered as assets. Experience with other cloud technologies like AWS would be an asset. Experience with reporting, data analysis and BI tools would be nice to have.

• Business Interruption Risk (BIR) Risk Associate:  Fulfil the enterprise-wide accountabilities of BIR risk associate, meeting all requirements within the Operational Risk Management Programs administered by Global Operational Risk Management (GORM).This includes BCM taxonomy, participation in committees, participation in/approval of Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA), Scenario Programs, Key Risk Indicators, Recovery and Resumption Plans, Control Framework, Policy reviews and Change Initiative Risk Assessment (CIRAs).
• BCM Policy and Standards & Guidelines: Annual review and updates of the BCM Policy and corresponding Standards & Guidelines.
• Change Initiative Risk Assessment (CIRA): Review all CIRAs presented for appropriate BIR content and controls, and ensure those changes do not adversely affect/encourage/enable an increase in BIR.
• Third Party Risk Assessments (TPRA): Review contracts, rated by the LOB as high or medium, through the TPRA process from the point of view of BIR. Provide a risk assessment to the business indicating the level of BCM risk and commentary as to whether there are sufficient risk mitigating processes in place.
• BCM Ongoing Monitoring – Assess the Suppliers Business Continuity documentation on an ongoing basis, using a risk based approach. Leverage existing tools and processes to complete due diligence reviews.
• Compliance & Assessment Report (CAR) - Perform annual assessment of critical business units on their compliance to the BCM Policy and Standards & Guidelines.
• BCM Governance and Controls: Liaise with assigned CIBC business units in their management of BIR risks affecting the line of business (LOB) and operational risk policies/mitigation strategies that reflect enterprise wide and industry standards. Provide subject matter expertise on BIR and related business issues including business protocol, processes, policies and procedures, key risk areas and controls, the operational loss experience and business strategies. Quarterly assessment of BIR control within the CIBC control framework. Perform enterprise wide risk assessment of supplier, vendor and technology risks. Participate in BCM internal audit process.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $106,500 and $183,700. How You Will Achieve It 

• Managing the efficient flow of materials and products within the warehouse environment.
• Ensuring constant regulatory compliance and readiness for inspections within the warehouse.
• Conducting effective training for warehouse colleagues and ensuring compliance with SOPs and OJT.
• Ensuring compliance with cGMP and EHS standards, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and ensuring inventory accuracy during material receipt, storage, and issuance.
• Managing inbound and outbound shipments, including coordination with freight forwarders, material release with Quality, and compliance with customs, excise, environmental, health, maritime, and IATA regulations.
• Handling maritime insurance claims and customer complaints, coordinating insurance matters, and implementing CAPA related to warehousing and shipping.
• Perform shipping studies to assess and optimize shipping processes, collaborate with logistics partners, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Timely preparation of materials for production and finished products for shipping, coordinating with cross-functional areas to meet inventory targets, shipment schedules, and delivery performance.
• Conduct safety and quality investigations to address warehouse-related incidents, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and maintain high standards of product quality and integrity throughout.
• Ensuring overall safety and quality compliance for warehouse management, implementing safety regulations at all times.
• Material planning to ensure availability of materials for production, reviewing MRP requirements, and analyzing inventory status to identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory for further action.
• Manage the disposal of distressed inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining proper documentation throughout the disposal process.

Qualifications 

Must-Have 

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent. 

• Knowledge and experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment. 

• Good verbal and written communication skills. 

• Knowledge of domestic and international logistic and government regulations. 

• Microsoft Office Suite skills.

• Experience with inventory and material management concepts.

• Possesses a positive, continuous improvement mindset. ​

Nice-to-Have 

• Advanced training in project management, supply chain management, scientific or clinical disciplines, business administration and/or people development. 

• In depth understanding of the regulatory guidelines impacting the logistics system requirement. 

• Good knowledge and understanding of advanced level of system application and products.

• 3-5 years of related experience in a supervisory capacity in operations/warehousing preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
