An exciting era started at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital in the summer of 2023 when our brand new Health and Wellbeing Hub, funded through the Hospital's Charity, opened for colleagues to access and make use of. The Hub provides a holistic space for colleagues to access the array of health and wellbeing services that the Trust and Joined Up Care Derbyshire has to offer for our colleagues.
We are looking for a Senior Health Improvement Advisor to manage the planning and delivery of the services and activities that will operate out of the Hub. You will work alongside the Workforce Health and Wellbeing Lead and manage on a day-to-day basis the Health Improvement Advisors and Hub, the workforce and our volunteers who support the Trusts’ Health and Wellbeing Services.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Health and Wellbeing Hub and the programming of H&W services within this, maximising the facilities usage.
• Day to day management of membership systems, inductions and client programmes and opportunity engagement protocols.
• Responsible for managing and maintaining health and fitness equipment.
• Working with the Workforce Health and Wellbeing Lead to develop and implement health and wellbeing programmes, based on the seven pillars of wellbeing, for example physical, mental, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
• Manage the H&W Activity programme / facility timetabling including those activities independently paid for by the trust, and work alongside the JUCD HIA Team Leader to maximise opportunities for colleagues across CRH.
• Responsible for recruiting Trust Wellbeing Champions.
• Support the implementation of the Trusts and the Integrated Care Systems (ICS) Wellbeing ambitions, including leading the delivery of physical activity services against set KPIs and ensuring the team members and volunteers are proactive and responsive to the needs of colleagues
• To design and deliver a range of physical activity and wellbeing interventions that meets the needs of our Health and Social Care Colleagues.
• As these are facility-based roles the successful applicants will be required to a work a shift pattern (between 6am-9pm currently Monday to Friday). You will be required to work from the Chesterfield Royal Hospital site.
