This is an excellent chance for a senior lawyer to join the Securities & Asset Management Legal team (SAML) on a 12-month fixed term contract to work on a variety of debt capital markets transactions including, in particular, securitisations. Maybury Primary School is a new school in the west of Edinburgh which opened in August 2024. • Experience of working in a design consultancy and/or some experience of working within a contractor design environment is beneficial.
• Good knowledge of appropriate technical standards.
• Able to take charge of personal project deliverables, make decisions on developing the discipline design elements, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way.
• Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients will be useful.
• Comfortable working within time and cost budgets as agreed at project briefing meetings.

Your new role

What you'll be doing

• Identifying and assessing the risks to Diligenta's successful delivery of strategic objectives and recommending relevant audit responses

We are currently seeking a self-motivated Senior Outreach Officer to join the UK Student Recruitment and Outreach team on a permanent basis.

The UK Student Recruitment and Outreach team take a leading role in supporting the achievement of the university’s recruitment targets. The work of the team includes the delivery of an annual programme of events targeted at raising awareness of the university, liaison with key schools and colleges that act as feeder institutions to the University and the provision of support and guidance to students in order to promote their transition to university.

The Role

As the Senior Outreach Officer – Colleges, you will have responsibility for planning, managing and implementing outreach activity for the University’s core undergraduate UK market, specifically targeting colleges and prospective students within the college sector, from within Scotland and across the Rest of UK and Republic of Ireland. This will include oversight of the Associate Student Scheme as well as the management of a network of college articulation partnerships throughout Scotland.

In this role, you will manage a small team, overseeing work and motivating the team to achieve successful outcomes and work towards targets. Additionally, you will build and manage effective relationships with colleges and other external stakeholders, organise and deliver workshops and other events and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies and plans for student recruitment and widening participation.

Salary: £24,064 - £26,468
Hours: 36 per week

A member of a gardening team undertaking horticultural, landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks.

Contributes expertise to the development of initiatives, plans and policies.

Supports the development of team-working within gardening squad.

Assists in training and instruction of gardening staff as required by the Service.

Deputises for other supervisors as required by the Service.

Identifies and initiates opportunities for operational and horticultural improvement within the duties of the position.

Knowledge and skills in horticulture and parks and grounds maintenance is required and a relevant qualification to SVQ 2 level or equivalent.

Although post holders are not directly responsible for day to day supervision of staff, they are expected to support and direct and, when appropriate, supervise new starts, apprentices, students and other shadow workers. They are expected to promote effective team working at all times.

Assists in the preparation and implementation of site management proposals for parks, gardens and greenspaces, including cemeteries, schools and other Council properties.
