No two days are the same here at Nottingham City Council, Enviroenergy. One day you could be working on planned preventative measures, the next day you could be responding to a leak on the network. This role is crucial in maintaining the ongoing supply of heat and power to our domestic and commercial customers across the City. We have a lot of exciting projects planned for the future.

The post holder will be working for Nottingham City Council, Enviroenergy department leading on the maintenance of the District Heating Network, encompassing primary and secondary pipelines and associated infrastructure assets. Establish and execute safety protocols, monitoring, and inspection regimes. Ensure the annual delivery of all planned maintenance work and manage reactive maintenance in response to incidents and service failures, including overseeing the emergency callout response for the network maintenance team. Effective risk management of the Heat Station and its operational assets is crucial to ensure quality service aligned with the business plan and operational priorities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Controls and Instrumentation Engineering or similar and have significant relevant experience.
• Successful track record of delivering service improvements in an engineering environment, effective project management and cross service collaboration.
• Working knowledge of asset management software including: Scada, Pirana and corporate asset management systems.
• Evidence of establishing a performance management culture, including service planning, target setting, performance appraisals and the management of different staff groups.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Production team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) . You will be responsible for assisting in the provision, management and development of safe and efficient pharmacy production service at NUH. This will include final checking and releasing medicines manufactured, prepared or assembled in the pharmacy production units at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH).

The Pharmacy Production department at NUH has four manufacturing areas. The Cytotoxic Chemotherapy Production Unit (Cytolab) is located at the City Hospital Campus. The role is based in the Corporate Programme Management Office which forms part of the Chief Executives Directorate. The prime function of the role is to manage the Tram Private Finance Initiative contract on behalf of the Authority . Working as the Events Executive / Coordinator you will be responsible for planning and delivering fundraising events; development of the supporter base; engagement with stakeholders and providing support to the local network of volunteers.

As the Events Executive / Coordinator you will be establishing and maintaining relationships, both outside and within the Charity. You will be expected to operate with local corporate entities, civic administrations, high net worth individuals, local trusts, and charitable organisations, as well as with the local Army and Army Cadet Force units.

DUTIES

Your duties as an Events Executive / Coordinator will include:

• Plan, run, and support fundraising events

• Manage supporter experiences and journeys seeking to retain current supporters and encourage new supporters

• In collaboration with the Comms & Marketing team, produce and distribute event marketing materials

• Increase support and income from the East Midlands for those income streams

• Support and, where necessary, assist Volunteer committees/advocates to encourage fundraising and engagement

• Prepare and deliver briefings on the Charity, represent the Charity at external events

• Liaise with:

o Local Media Organisations
o Volunteer Committee Chairs and Committee members
o Armed Forces Champions within local government, public and private employers
o Local Army, Army Reserve and Cadet units
o Other Military Charities

• Database Administration, ensuring supporter information is entered correctly, maintained and accurate records are kept

• Ensure income is correctly batched, expenditure is accounted for, and the Charity’s Gift Aid process has been followed


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to be flexible with working patterns

• Ability to use a wide range of IT applications is essential (training provided as necessary)

• Understanding of social media tools essential

• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

• Well-developed communication skills with strong interpersonal skills

• Able to embrace and represent our Charity’s values

• Understanding of the East Midland’s political, administrative, public, and private organisations is desirable for this role

• Experience of the Charity Sector, particularly events, is highly desirable

The Offender Health Care Group is one of the largest and most successful providers of prison healthcare in the UK. The Care Group provide physical, mental health and substance misuse healthcare services in prisons across the East Midlands, Lincolnshire & Leicestershire. The Care Group provides healthcare to 7 prisons and a short term holding facility. To co-ordinate and lead the team in the provision of clinical and psychosocial interventions. To provide guidance and support to junior members of the team regarding standards of care for patients. Medicines Information Provide evaluated medicines information and advice from a variety of sources including clinical trials and published literature to pharmacy, medical and nursing staff, allied healthcare professionals and members of the public (via the medicines helpline) at all levels to promote the safe, effective, evidence-based and economic use of medicines thus optimising individual patient therapy. Assist in the production of proactive medicines information aimed at improving prescribing and practice, and therefore patient care both in and outside the pharmacy, through personal communication, memos and bulletins. In conjunction with the Lead pharmacists, Medicines Information, ensure that all standard operating procedures relating to the provision of medicines information are in place and current and all resources are up to date. Support the training and development of junior medicines information staff and Lead Technician, Medicines Information and be actively involved in checking and reviewing their enquiries where necessary. Contribute to a peer review system and assist with the audit of enquiries in accordance with clinical governance requirements. To support and if necessary represent the Lead pharmacists, Medicines Information in all aspects pertaining to the management of the pharmacy departments Medicines Information service. As part of the Medicines Information team, ensure that drug recalls and alerts received into the Trust are dealt with in a timely manner. Maintain contact with appropriate specialists and groups both nationally and locally to enable best practice to be identified and incorporated into NUH practice. To support the provision and update of monographs for the NHS Injectable Medicines guide. Core Clinical duties (3.75-18.75 hours per week) To ensure safe rational and effective prescribing by undertaking medication reconciliation, assessing suitability of prescribed medication, enabling use of patients own medicines and patient self-administration, counselling (to optimise medicines use), and ensuring continuity of patient care into the community. Providing medicines for individual patients during their stay in hospital, at discharge and also for out-patient visits. Interpreting and requesting clinical tests to monitor and make recommendations to improve effectiveness of drug therapy. Pro-actively liaising with other members of the multidisciplinary team (medical staff, nurses, microbiologists, physiotherapists, dieticians) in order to ensure safe use of medicines. Making recommendations about medicines to improve patient outcomes and to encourage adherence to hospital formulary and national guidelines.
