We are currently recruiting for Senior Early Years Intervention Officers as part of the Early Learning and Childcare Expansion as funded by the Scottish Government.

In Edinburgh, this is a relatively new post and provides an excellent opportunity for anyone who has a degree or working towards a degree qualification within early years.

SEYIOs are centrally managed within the Early Years team and are then allocated to identified settings and work directly with the children. As part of the role there is on-going high quality training to support intervention work which will improve outcomes for some of our youngest learners.

This post will appeal to practitioners who want to further develop their skills and who would like to make a difference in closing the poverty related attainment gap.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. The Senior Building Surveyor role:

The assessment team works closely with PASS-AS, our sister Advice Service. PASS-AS empower autistic people to access support, education and advice. The post will focus specifically on assessment. You will provide both diagnostic assessment and expertise in your core discipline. You will deliver specialist, bespoke training to mental health, physical health and Adult social care staff, providing specialist knowledge of the needs of people with Autism. You will support the clinical lead and be responsible for the running of the assessment service. You will provide specialist consultation to other health and social care practitioners. 3.DEPARTMENTAL POSITION 4.SCOPE AND RANGE The post holder may periodically rotate with practitioners within the advice service arm of the team to deliver advice and occasional interventions using your core professional skills. Training will be provided. The post-holder will be a NMC/HCPC registered practitioner, providing specialist assessment for adults who suspect they are Autistic. As a Senior Business Improvement Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will form a key role within an energetic and diverse team working to challenging timescales to deliver transformation projects/programmes in different functions and sectors across defence in the UK.

Day-to-day:
You'll have project management focus with a level of responsibility for ensuring projects meet objectives to the correct quality, on time and on budget by applying structured processes and governance to achieve specific objectives.

• Defining and scoping of process improvement projects within the function, and work with specialists and leads to implement improvement plans.

Essential experience of the Senior Business Improvement Specialist:

• Experience and understanding of project management (preferably PMQ) and the delivery of projects.
• Experience in project management with knowledge of related disciplines e.g. change management and lean working.
• Knowledge and understanding of organisational change models such as Kotter's, Lewin's, 7-S Model, nudge theory etc.
• Experience of analysis of data to provide useful information and insights including performance against plan.
• Ability to work well with small teams as well as a wider groups of stakeholders. Fostering teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications for the Senior Business Improvement Specialist:

• Qualified to a degree level or be able to demonstrate a career-based knowledge and experience

Must hold one of the following:

The role
