We are looking for a motivated pharmacy technician to join our diverse Clinical Pharmacy team to develop and deliver an advanced, patient-centred medicines pharmacy service on the Olayan day unit.

You will be a key member of staff working within the Day Unit helping to deliver an effective and safe service by counselling the patients on all their supportive medication and oral chemotherapy.

You must have excellent communicational skills, the ability to work on your own as well as within a team and be highly motivated to deliver excellent patient care.

There will be a requirement to participate in the Saturday service and Bank holiday service.

1.1. To develop, maintain and manage the safe, efficient, and cost-effective supply of medicines to patients attending the Oak Cancer Centre.

The post would be most suitable for a trainee with CCT or a year 6 orthopaedic trainee, with FRCS (Orth) or equivalent, Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise and with a special interest in knee surgery. The Upper Limb Fellow will be directly involved in the day to day care of the Trauma & Orthopaedic patients admitted to their firm. During each six month rotation you will work for either Mr Clark and Mr Cresswell (this also includes a day in the Pulvertaft Hand Unit) Mr Espag or Mr Tambe team

This is a 12 Month Fixed Term/Secondment Role



The End User Support Senior Engineer is an on site role andwill assist the Team Leader with the development and support of the end user support team, providing desktop support across the trust, and all community sitesin line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and in accordance with appropriate standards.



The post holder will be expected to deliver and maintain end user operational services through the timely resolution of incidents and requests and will act as a point of escalation for more complex end user support issues.



The Trust operates a 7-day per week operational service, and it is expected that the End user Support Team supports these hours. Hence, there is a requirement to work weekends and evenings with the existing IT Service Desk shift system.



The post holder will be expected to take part in an on-call scheme operated via a Rota system,beresponsiblefor the installation and support of IT equipment and softwarein line with established procedures, to support standard operations and the rollout of new projects within the Trust.

The post holder will manage and participate in the support of IT systems and projects having a detailed knowledge of systems and infrastructure required to diagnose and resolve complex integrated technical issues. Provide and receive complex or sensitive information and escalations from junior colleagues as part of the role, using technical abilities to ensure calls are resolved quickly or escalated to the appropriate team or specialist. This applies to both technical issues, complaints and staff disputes.
