Job Description

St Mary’s Episcopal Nursery is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled SECE who has the drive and compassion to lead a small team, whilst continuing to inspire and build on the whole school ethos.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience of working in early learning and childcare and will be able to demonstrate the required skills and competencies of the role. As a Senior Early Childhood Educator you will support the management, planning and implementing of a flexible, high quality service, which is appropriate to the needs of children and families in the nursery and the wider community.

We are looking for a Senior Early Childhood Educator who will inspire, motivate, support and challenge colleagues in the development of their own practice. You will support the implementation of suitable programmes of learning opportunities which meet the needs of the individual child in line with Local and National Guidance. You will hold or be willing to work towards a relevant level 9 practice qualification, for example, BA Childhood Practice.

Applicants should be explicit in detailing the required skills, experience and attributes that you are able to bring to this post. To meet the conditions of employment you will be registered as a Manager with the SSSC prior to appointment, or within 6 months of your appointment.

This is a full time post, the applicant must be able to work between the hours of 8.00am-6.00pm on a rotated shift basis.

St Mary’s is currently a term time nursery however the successful applicant will fulfil their contracted hours in other Stirling Council Early Years’ establishments out with term time.

The post holder will work within an established epilepsy specialist nursing service for adults with intellectual disability. The service is an integral part of a wider multidisciplinary epilepsy team in Nottinghamshire providing diagnosis and treatment of complex epilepsies and associated health conditions through specialist nurse-led clinics, community home visits, and telephone advice. The post holder will assist in the delivery and continued development of a high quality, specialist service to adults with Intellectual Disability and teenagers in transition. The person will work in partnership with epilepsy colleagues in Neurology at Nottingham University Hospitals to deliver a countywide integrated Epilepsy and Intellectual Disability Specialist Service. The post holder will act as a source of specialist advice and information for patients, carers, and health professionals. The post holder will promote patient focussed care and act as a resource for Intellectual Disability Service colleagues. The post holder will maintain a high level of awareness of relevant research, best practice and National recommendations and ensure this is reflected in their clinical practice. The post holder will prescribe and review medication for therapeutic effectiveness, appropriate to patient needs and in accordance with evidence-based practice and national and practice protocols, and within scope of practice. The Role:

Senior Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for ensuring quality services are delivered in a timely manner including the cleaning
the daily and deep cleaning of premises and specialist work; engaging in quality auditing system when requested. Ensuring they and
the team are working in a healthy and safe way in compliance with both our client and internal Health and Safety. Always act
responsibility and professionally ensuring that you represent the Sasse Group in a respectful, courteous and professional manner.
