SUMMARY

We are looking for a highly experienced Backend Developer to manage and strengthen our back end API and infrastructure. The back end supports thousands of drivers across the world to log their trips, export their data as mileage reports and manage their vehicle's emissions, condition and costs. Most of our data, AI and machine learning functions are built through the back end so this is a cutting edge role.

 

The Company
We are in the fast growing Smart Mobility space and make a multi-award winning connected car (IoT) device that has customers in 70 countries.   

 

The Position
Based in the Sydney CBD office, you’ll be working directly alongside the founders and within a small, high performing engineering comprising mobile developers and hardware and electrical engineers.

You’ll assume responsibility for
- Maintaining the back end, ensuring our systems run reliably as we scale
- Helping to develop new features
- Creating new reports and being the lead engineer for our extensive data management requirements

The stack you’ll be working with is:
- NodeJS REST API written using LoopBack framework and nestJS deployed to AWS as an ECS (Fargate) app
- All new infrastructure built as typescript / python lambda functions, buffered by SQS Infrastructure-as-Code using AWS CDK
- Most data stored in RDS (Postgres) with data warehouse in S3/Athena
- Machine learning layer using sklearn + XGBoost deployed on lambda
- Nascent web dashboard written in Next JS with a GraphQL API layer

Broader stack at the company:
- Native android app written in Kotlin/Java
- Native iOS app written in Swift/Objective C
- In house designed, custom IoT hardware (OBD2 adapter) with firmware written in C

Skills and Requirements:
- 4+ years experience with Node JS
- 4+ years working with TypeScript
- 5+ years working with Postgres including experience with PG12 table partitioning
- 4+ years working with AWS
- 3+ years working with Docker, IaC, Message queue services

Nice to have skills
- Team lead experience (or ready to start leading teams)
- Experience with building + managing a data warehouse Python + ML Experience
- React JS + GraphQL Experience
- Experience building APIs for Android / iOS so you can work well with front end developers
- Experience working in scrum / sprint environment
- Automotive industry experience or experience tinkering with hardware (like OBD2 dongles or Raspberry Pi) a definite asset.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Content Solutions Consultant to lead our LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) business by delivering executive level, client specific consultancy workshops and educational experiences for LinkedIn’s largest and most strategic customers.

The Content Solutions team are expert advisors housing the world’s best B2B content professionals experienced in client-facing consulting and workshops on varying topics including B2B digital strategy, brand and performance marketing, measurement and talent branding.

A Senior Content Solutions Consultant collaborates directly with our client’s CMO’s and senior marketing leaders and will be responsible for researching, composing and delivering quality consultative workshops and speaking events that drive strong relationships, better ROAS and product adoption on LinkedIn. They will successfully project lead the development of new intelligence and tools to scale content and marketing strategy expertise to LinkedIn’s premier customers and internal sales teams.

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about B2B Marketing and willingly collaborates with our sales and marketing leadership, working strategically to exceed regional sales objectives and ensure the success of leading advertisers worldwide.

Note: This role is focused on marketing and business consulting. We are not looking for a content creator. Content creation or execution will be a minor component of this position.

Responsibilities

Partner with sales leaders and sales operations to measure and optimise the team’s impact on regional business growth
Operate cross-functionally with LinkedIn’s Marketing, Insights, Measurement, Agency and Editorial teams to contribute to and drive mission-critical decisions for the business
Build and execute a regional plan to bring the APAC Content Solutions Consultant team vision and mission to life
Foster a positive and values-driven team culture
Drive collaborative initiatives to educate and up-skill internal sales teams on marketing and content consulting
Engage in speaking opportunities in the industry to enhance LinkedIn’s overall reputation as the premier marketing platform for brands to reach, engage and convert professional audiences at scale
Establish a ‘thought leader’ reputation on the LinkedIn platform and create and distribute content
Act as voice of the customer to deliver feedback to LinkedIn product development on required enhancements and evolution for LinkedIn content marketing solutions as needed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

8+?years of experience in a client-facing role, agency, consulting firm, marketing strategy, media planning or content marketing
Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Marketing or equivalent experience in related field
Knowledge of social media landscape and B2B brands
Knowledge of performance/digital marketing (SEM/Display/Paid Social) and the paid media marketplace
Proven ability to demonstrate initiative and to work independently in developing and creating value-add content for marketers
Experience in a consultancy or training position to deliver marketing specific strategic frameworks to key business stakeholders
Excellent communication and presentation skills
A working knowledge of LinkedIn and its products is preferred
Proven ability to think strategically and to develop and execute comprehensive programs
Highly organised self-starter that demonstrates creativity and resourcefulness
