Managerial responsibilities: Line management of the Temporary Staffing Team. Be the first point of contact for any team queries and concerns. Taking a lead under the direction of Head of Resourcing & Recruitment for service quality assurance including monitoring and managing Temporary Staffing KPIs. Provide feedback to Rostering and Temporary Staffing on the productivity and quality of work of the team, reporting on KPIs. This includes ensuring interviewing approach is inclusive and monitoring EDI representation at interview panels. Ensure all documentation, including job descriptions, person specification and job packs relating to DGT through the bank recruitment process is accurate and up to date and conforms to agreed templates and formats. Job objectives and responsibilities

The role of Senior Manager within the Residential Function involves ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, company policies and procedures, and HMPPS standards, policies, and procedures where applicable. As a Departmental Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight and delivery of services across all residential functions, including Reception and Early Days in Custody (EDIC), with line management of Prison Custody Managers. Person Specification

The role requires previous relevant experience in a custodial or secure environment. Candidates must have managerial experience leading a team of 5 to 15 staff. Intermediate IT skills are necessary, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

Operational experience in prisons is preferred. Candidates should have technical knowledge of relevant prison legislation, policies, standards, inspection and audit processes, and an understanding of the wider criminal justice system. Silver command training or a commitment to complete the training is desirable. Successful completion of incident and hostage management training, as well as adjudication training, or a commitment to complete these trainings, is also preferred.

Candidates should have qualifications or relevant experience equivalent to Level 3 or above, such as A levels, Advanced Apprenticeship, AS Levels, International Baccalaureate diploma, Level 3 Awards, Certificates and Diplomas, or Level 3 NVQ accreditations.

Commercial Business Development Manager / Account Manager

- Salary: £40,000+ (DOE) + Quarterly Bonus + Benefits

Our client, a well-established vehicle security and conversion company based in Dartford, is seeking an experienced Commercial Business Development Manager / Account Manager to join their expanding team. With over 40 years of trading experience and a wide range of services, including HGV security systems, van conversions, and other vehicle solutions, they are looking for a driven professional to take charge of sales, account management, and customer relations.

As the Commercial Business Development Manager / Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Sales management—managing and expanding the company’s portfolio of LCV and HGV clients, typically professionals like skip company owners and HGV drivers.
- Account management—building long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
- Project coordination—planning, scheduling, and overseeing jobs, ensuring they are completed on time and meet client expectations.
- Invoicing—managing invoicing for all completed projects, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Client meetings—while predominantly office-based (90%), you’ll occasionally visit clients to scope out projects or maintain relationships.
- Quoting—working closely with the operations team and the business owner to assist with quoting and pricing for larger projects.

About You as a Business Development Manager:

- Automotive Industry Sales experience is essential—ideally within the LCV or HGV sectors so you’re familiar with the customer base and their specific needs.
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills are crucial.
- Experience with project management, from initial contact through to job completion, is highly desirable.
- A self-starter with a proactive attitude, capable of making this role your own and leaving a lasting impact.
- Familiarity with automotive-related sales will be a distinct advantage.
