Our client is an industrial processing business, part of a larger group, with multiple sites in the UK, they are looking for a driven production shift manager.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage, develop and steer the site production team
• Managing a team of 3 team leaders and around 50 production / operational staff
• Make sure the team complies with all company standards - health & safety, hygiene, uniform, PPE
• Planning shifts to meet budgets, handover meetings, workload allocation, managing absences
• Make sure training has been completed for staff and regular performance reviews are conducted
• Look at areas of improvement, suggest lean manufacturing techniques
• Maximise the service, cost and quality of the shift to meet KPi's and customer service levels

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment - manufacturing, production, FMCG
• Must have worked a rotating shift pattern previously
• Knowledge of change management - process & continuous improvement ideas
• At least 2 years experience in a similar management / team leader role
• Excellent communication skills across a diverse workforce
• Able to work to results driven KPi's
• Confident in carrying out staff training

Can you lead our highly successful Drama department whilst our current Head of Drama is onmaternity leave?

Slough and Eton school are looking for a temporary Head of Drama, as a Maternity Cover, from next March to December, to maintain and further develop our strong, popular department. We have a dedicated drama studio with a well-established extra curricular provision. During the year we run drama trips to the Warner Bros. Studio, a West End musical, a pantomime and other plays as appropriate for KS4 BTEC. We also showcase our students talents through the Shakespeare’s Schools Festival performance, a Spring play, and a musical in December.

The temporary Head of Department will be confident with teaching Drama to Key Stages 3 and 4, including BTEC Drama. You will also work closely with the Head of Music and our Dance Teacher, who will lead on the dance pathway in the BTEC course.

Ideally you will have experience of teaching drama in school, especially BTEC Performing Arts. Schemes of work and resources are all in place so you will be able to focus on the teaching and learning aspect of the role.

As Assistant Night manager you will look after our guests and the Hotel between the hours of 10.30pm and 7am, 5 nights out of 7 each week. You will complete the night audit, check guests in and out of the hotel as required, complete hotel walkarounds throughout the night ensuring security and safety, and deal with any issues or complaints occurring overnight.

You will be on duty with at least one other member of the night team and our events team members will often be on site until the early hours of the morning when we have weddings/events taking place.

Join our team in this senior role as the Corporate Events Planning Manager where you will lead our team of Meeting & Event Planning Executives. To be considered for this role you must have recent experience planning multiple large conferences, meetings & events. What you'll bring

You are probably an existing General Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Restaurant manager with a background in restaurants, bars, caf or coffee shops.
You will have experience of working in a bar environment with serving freshly made food and drinks preparation.
You will be familiar with managing through clear KPIs and making decisions considering labour; stock; food safety requirements, customer sentiment plus others in line with brand standards and a budget.
You will have delivered successful training and recruitment for front of house teams including servers through to Assistant Managers.
