The Director of Revenue is responsible for working with the Revenue Management team in determining strategic goals and tactical efforts, which drive revenue to the hotel. The Director of Revenue is responsible for ensuring that the inventory allocation and pricing parameters are positioned to support the overall revenue goals of the hotel. This role serves as the objective decision maker that ensures the best interest of profitability is served in the overall hotel as well as ensuring the integrity of rates and long-term customer investment.

How your day looks like:

• Closely monitor competitive pricing and understand the impact of relative pricing decisions on property performance. Performs competitor checks and reports as appropriate.

• Actively manages the Hotel’s revenue system 
• Monitors transient and group production to ensure that an optimal mix is maintained and evaluates group booking requests to ensure that the Hotel is not displacing higher yielding revenue.
• Analyzes the impact of the revenue management strategy being implemented by the Mondrian Singapore team and advises relevant changes as when needed.
• Ensures that the Hotels' position in the GDS and other distribution channels is consistent with the Hotels' Selling Strategies, includes conducting rate and availability audits, and that rate parity is maintained across all channels.
• Ensures that all rate plans are built in accordance with established Mondrian Singapore guidelines.
• Works with Director of Sales and Director of Marketing to determine effective and engaging rate offers (packages) which are then offered in to the right customer in the right channel.
• Works with Director of Sales and Sales Team members to encourage strategic selection of the right piece of business.
• Responsible for developing, training, and providing guidance to the Revenue Analyst/Distribution Executive/ Reservations Team through day to day management.
• Participates in all Revenue conference calls with Corporate.
• Assists in managing relationships with third party online intermediaries especially OTA’s and Regional Travel Agents.
• Produce and analyze current and historical demand including lost business turndown, rooms on the books, competitive set and market trends to aid in more accurate forecasting.

To power the business expansion, we have an opportunity for a credible and talented Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our Company and become a member of the Management Team in Singapore.

Position Overview: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a critical role in ensuring the strategic and operational efficiency of WEnergy Global. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the Company's day-to-day operations, ensuring the successful execution of renewable energy projects, and driving continuous improvement across multiple projects with multiple technologies, in multiple countries with multiple stakeholders all at the same time. This position requires a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader with a deep understanding of the renewable energy sector, strong operational acumen, and a proven track record of managing complex projects and teams in the ASEAN region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

• As a member of the Management Team of the Company, collaborate with the CEO and Heads of Departments to develop and implement the Company’s strategic plan fostering a culture of sustainability, compliance and excellence.
• Possess a keen, adaptive understanding and working experience of business environments especially in the Asia-Pacific, and the energy and industrial sector.
• Identify opportunities, including partnerships for project execution and the use of emerging new technologies, to ensure competitive advantage of operations.

2. Operational Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Company, including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, operations, monitoring and maintenance.
• Ensure efficient and effective execution of renewable energy projects, from inception to completion based on thorough data analytics and field observations.
• Implement best practices in project management and quality assurance, including quality control, process improvement, risk management, and safety and health management.

3. Financial Oversight:

• Develop and manage project budgets and the annual operating budget, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency and project returns.

4. Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals across various functions by leveraging unique strengths, skills and motivations.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes communication, innovation and accountability.
• Develop and enhance learning and innovation culture with positive feedback loops towards a strong organizational culture and operating environment.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including key suppliers, contractors, government agencies, development financing institutions, private investors, regulatory bodies, partners, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, and advise potential impacts and necessary adjustments to the Company's operations and execution strategies.

6. Sustainability and Innovation:

• Champion sustainability initiatives and integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into the Company's operations.
• Promote the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions to drive operational excellence and competitive advantage.
• Manage the Research & Innovation Agenda of the Company to integrate technical excellence and innovation in project planning, design, implementation & operations.

Competences & Capabilities:

The successful Candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities and qualifications:

• Master’s degree in engineering, industrial-business administration, or a related field; a combination of engineering with business administration is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing small and large-scale renewable energy projects and complex operations, including hybrid power systems and smart power grids.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management, financial analysis, and operations planning with a strategic view.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Six Sigma, and Operations Excellence and Safety Management or equivalents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, nurturing people for growth.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Location

Your experience and skills include:

What you will be doing:

• To ensure that all financial, Legal and Insurance records and files are maintained according to the established standards computerized where possible.
• To know all terms and conditions of the management agreement and to ensure that they are adhered to.

• To implement local accounting procedures to ensure compliance with local government regulations, after approval from the area and/or corporate offices.
• To assist in compiling, together with the Cluster General Manager and Heads of Division, all budgets and forecasts covering all activities of the hotel and to maintain all budget control procedures.
• To understand Accor and/or hotel tax obligations, using the assistance of locally-appointed auditors or tax experts.
• To obtain the requisite government licenses and approvals for the operation of the hotel.
• Responsible for establishing budget forecasts (investment budget and operating budgets) for the organization and keep a record of monthly budgetary discrepancies.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will perform all acts, duties and obligations as may be designated by the Company. The nature of these tasks will be typical for those of a financial services company, including but not limited to:

• Source, assess, structure and execute private markets transactions incl. due diligence work, financial modelling and related administrative tasks.
• Regularly monitor, track and assess private markets portfolio transactions.
• Prepare internal and external transaction related documents.
• Support the development of the private markets team with the aim to improve and adjust processes.
• Support the acquisition and management ofclients for the Company.
• Market the Company, its services and private market transactions to clients and potential clients.
• Help administer the clients’ as well as Company matters.
• Maintain high client satisfaction when performing your tasks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or other related financial services role.
• Strong interest in private equity, venture capital, growth equity, and M&A.
• Experience writing long-form research a plus.
• Critical thinker
• Demonstrable analytical capabilities, including strong quantitative/modeling skills.
• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
