About the Role :

To support the GWS Local business by educating, influencing and advising key stakeholders on commercial best practices in order to contribute to the long-term growth and profitability of the business in line with the wider GWS Local business strategy.

The Commercial role dedicated to GWS Local to support new and existing business and growth together with providing day-to-day support to the Local team and accounts. Be the subject matter expert on the commercial agreements, including but not limited to: commercial terms, areas of risk and reward, operational compliance, cost control, financial responsibilities and liabilities, milestone obligations. Work with the business subject matter experts (SMEs) and legal team to support the GWS Local business.

SCOPE

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Revenue Management is responsible for maximizing overall revenue through development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies based on demand and competitor analysis in order to gain market share.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

• Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance through proper pricing and mix management using competitive reports.
• Develop overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels.
• Effectively manage and be in control of all inventory (transient, group, wholesale allotments and other) and pricing strategy in all distribution channels including branded web, 3rd party sites and the GDS.
• Responsible for effective implementation and compliance with Kempinski Revenue Management Standards.
• Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
• Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance or a relevant field of work preferred.

• Knowledge of PMS, Opera, Duetto, SynXis is imperative.

Director of Catering and Conference Services

The Director of Catering and Conference Services will lead and manage the catering team, ensuring efficient execution of events while maximizing revenue and delivering a high-quality experience for all guests. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and People Management

• Lead, train, and motivate the Catering team to deliver high-quality events.

Sales and Revenue Management

Technical and Functional Competencies

• Liaise with department heads such as Chefs, Banquet Managers, and Front Office Managers to ensure smooth execution of all Catering and Group events.
• Oversee audio-visual requirements and ensure all logistical aspects of the event are handled efficiently.
• Prepare reports on booking pace, forecasting, month-end analysis, and other relevant metrics.
• Ensure team and relevant operating departments are kept up to date with competitor activities and provide insights on the market when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Administrative Duties

• Ensure all event documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including contracts, proposals, and function sheets.
• Maintain an effective trace and follow-up system for client communication.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and pacing reports.
• Implement standards for space management to avoid conflicts in event setup and breakdown times.

Client Relationship Management

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.

What You Bring:
