With a growing pipeline of new clients and opportunities, and projects already in hand, we are undergoing an exciting period of growth. We are looking to appoint an experienced Associate Director for Kerbside Management.
Candidates will be in a similar Associate Director or an experienced Associate/Principal role looking to advance their career. Ideal candidates will have 10 plus years' experience in parking and kerbside management with a proven track record of developing profitable work streams with local authority clients.
What you will be doing:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients, adopting a collaborative partnership approach and negotiate with internal and external business partners, clients, and customers.
- Developing a solid understanding of changes and innovation within industry and kerbside management
- Ensuring projects are secured in line with business commercial guidelines and meet quality, financial and client satisfaction objectives
- Delivering and contributing to the success of business plans and strategies, developing, tracking, and securing new opportunities in the public and private sectors
- Leading and mentoring direct reports and teams of consultants to support project delivery.
- Ensuring that staff are provided with the appropriate information technology and appropriate training to maintain high-quality service delivery at all times.
- Reporting and contributing at operational team meetings and implement agreed management strategies, undertaking annual appraisals to agree, monitor and measure performance targets
- Managing programmes of work and delivering expert technical support, input, and services in the delivery of kerbside management projects including highway and public realm design schemes from inception to completion.
- Preparing and assisting with bid submissions for new work [one-off projects and long-term framework contracts] that enable the business to meet growth aspirations.
- Providing commercial management, project programming, resource management, risk assessment, quality checking and delivery management, including authorisation of project work.
- Monitoring utilisation of managed teams and taking ownership of emerging issues with workload and pipeline.
- Proactively recruiting and developing quality resources and assist in the management of resources and service delivery cross-regionally, working closely with other service leads.
- Supporting regional financial performance through management of key accounts, debt management, project oversight, staff resourcing, resource scheduling and pipeline analysis.
What we are looking for:
- Chartered status eg. ICE, CIHT
- Demonstrable knowledge and expertise in kerbside management design and implementation
- Seasoned professional with substantial experience in professional discipline and recognised in the industry
- Experienced in solution development and ability to develop, price, and agree scope of services plus leading and winning tender opportunities
- Experienced in writing and reviewing technical reports and adept in conveying key messages in a simple and clear manner from complex technical documentation.
- Highly effective mentoring and training skills to develop and support staff.
- Knowledge and experience of financial management for significant project and programme values. Demonstrable business/commercial management skills of small to large project
