The role

Children’s Services in Tameside are looking for committed and enthusiastic Team Manager to join us in our Cared for Children Service who work with cared for children from 0-18 years of age.

The role

About You

You will take the lead on supporting adults to live well at home. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team and your work will include managing a caseload, Care Act Assessments, Support Plans, Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest Decisions and signposting to internal and external services where necessary to enhance wellbeing and independence.

You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build effective professional relationships with other disciplines and with other local health and social care services to enable a coordinated response to individuals and families.

To provide a comprehensive efficient and effective secretarial service to the Sleep team and respiratory secretarial team. To type clinical correspondence within a set timescale and providing support for the Band 4 Medical Secretary team as and when required. The post holder is required to provide comprehensive secretarial, waiting list management and administrative support to medical and nursing staff within a specialty team. The post holder will assist medical and nursing colleagues in the organisation of the specialty team workload, communicating appointment and admission related information to patients/carers. The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of the administration team as well as ensuring compliance with the Patient Access Policy and Divisional requirements in terms of inpatient waiting list management.
