Major Duties:

• Independently conducts psychosocial assessments. Develops treatment plans in collaboration with the veteran/family and with the interdisciplinary treatment team. Incumbent must possess the skills to offer psychosocial interventions and measure outcomes of interventions.

• Meets the needs of customers while still supporting VA missions. Consistently communicates and treats customers (veterans, their representatives, visitors, and all VA staff) in a courteous, tactful and respectful manner. • The Social Worker, under the direct supervision of an LIP. will develop an assessment of the veteran in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team, the veteran, and family members/significant others, whenever possible.
• The Social Worker, under the close supervision of an LIP, is responsible for contributing to the development of the treatment plan and setting achievable treatment goals with the veteran, family members/significant others and other CLC clinical staff.
• The Social Worker is responsible for using the current Social Work resource file of VA and community social service programs and enhancing the content to the benefit of veterans. The Social Worker will refer the veteran to needed services.
• The Social Worker is experienced in making rapid assessments and developing crisis management plans.
• The Social Worker provides education related to VA and community resources, entitlements, Advance Directives/Living Will and will refer veterans and families/significant others to the appropriate interdisciplinary team member for identified health education needs.

Essential skills

• Good overall standard of education.
• Working towards or hold Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
• Up to date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children's home regulations and quality standards.
• Previous experience of working directly with young people with challenging behaviour.
• Good report writing and numeracy skills. Well organised with good administration skills. IT literate.
• Able to relate to young people with empathy and committed to a high standard of child care and to achieve the best outcomes for young people in their care.
• Strong motivational, management and leadership potential. Able to supervise, support and develop Residential Support Workers to create a cohesive team.
• Good knowledge of relevant Children's Home legislation and local & national child protection procedures and protocols.

The role
As a HSE Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. As our Health, Safety and Environmental Engineer, you will be a member of the Commissioning Alliance playing an integral role responsible for ensuring commissioning programme adherence and compliance with applicable statuary health and safety legislative requirements and identifying non-compliances, whilst providing guidance on such matters.

Day-to-day, you'll be reporting to the Commissioning Health, Safety and Welling Lead, amongst providing advice and guidance for smooth operation, reporting and resolution of HSE issues. Moreover, ensuring the daily coordination of the Commissioning Health and Safety Management arrangements and monitoring between Commissioning Programme and Pre-Operations Industrial Safety team.

• Participate in maintaining and improving Health, Safety and Environmental performance in control of risks across the Commissioning programme.
• Review Commissioning RAMS and provide technical safety advice to Commissioning members to eliminate/reduce risks/hazards to people, plant and environment.
• Provide advice and support producing the relevant and appropriate Health and Safety performance reports, including identification of trends and early warnings of possible issues, recommending appropriate action.
• Establish and maintain Health and Safety risk profiles and undertake associated risk-based assessments, inspections and Health and Safety assurance activities.
• Support implements the of Commissioning H&S arrangements from the Health and Safety Plan during commissioning phase at HPC.

This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week and is based on site at Hinkley Point C.

Essential experience of the HSE Engineer

• Strong communication skills with the ability to develop wide network and working relationships
• Health and Safety experience including within a large project environment.
• Strong focus on identifying risks/hazards and implications with provide mitigations using process.
• Able to produce high quality records and reports, providing safety assurance through communication of HSE data and information.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station's vast network of rooms.

The role
As a Plant, Tool and Equipment Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Being part of the MEH Alliance working on Hinkley Point C is a chance to be involved in a major project with national significance. You will be joining a new team helping to effectively repair and manage on site owned plant tools and equipment for the MEH Alliance.
Day-to-day, you'll You will be responsible for overseeing and completing reactive and planned maintenance for all the plant, tools and equipment (PTE) procured by the MEH Alliance on the HPC project.

• To effectively repair and manage on site owned plant tools and equipment for the MEH Alliance.
• To offer familiarisation to teams requiring the use of PTE in their section and to ensure the correct use and standard is maintained at all times.
• Provide feedback on Improvements to where PTE can be better managed throughout the project and offer advise on better products if clear effective improvement can be found
• This position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools, or standing for extended periods of time.

This role is full time, 38 hours per week, and is based on site at Hinkley Point C.

Essential experience of the Plant, Tool and Equipment Technician

• Experience maintaining small tools and plant including repair.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge for larger plant items.
• Understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
• Understanding of LEV, Welding and general calibration data and procedures for survey equipment.
• Knowledge of IT systems.

• NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plant Maintenance
