To support the Deputy Head of Financial Control in overall management and performance of financial accounts service utilising specialist knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, financial aspects of NHS legislation and NHS finance policies by providing cover for a range of business-critical processes within the financial accounts department.

The Senior Financial Accountant will assist in the delivering accurate and timely production of the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts. The post holder will also assist in ensuring that supporting schedules and working papers are produced to the highest standard, within the allocated timescales, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory guidance such as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and the Department of Health and Social Care Annual Reporting Manual.
