The Role

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Community Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Team. Based primarily at The Campus, a vibrant hub for Herons’ Moor Academy, Baytree School, Locking Castle Children’s Centre, and various leisure and library facilities, you will play a key role in keeping our spaces functional, safe, and welcoming. Key Responsibilities:

In this varied role, your daily tasks will include:

Facilities and Maintenance Support: Respond to staff and user queries, address building issues, and handle room setup requests. Perform small DIY repairs such as fixing cupboard doors, putting up notice boards, or reactive Health & Safety works.
Waste and Environmental Compliance: Ensure safe waste disposal in line with North Somerset Council (NSC) guidelines and ISO14001 standards.
