You will join a small professional team and help drive the development of a newly formed RIES Office. The new RIES Office brings together staff, support and management functions from across the University, to provide an integrated, efficient, and coherent support and management service for the funding submission and award lifecycle. Responsibilities:

• Managing calls on system
• Managing operatives diaries
• General administration
• Planning repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative
• Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively
• Liaising with operatives, tenants, and the Client
• Document Control - Ensure worksheets are received and checked
• Work towards individual and client KPI's
• Deal with council and private housing contracts, planning and scheduling routine, essential and emergency property maintenance works
• Tracking and monitoring to completion
• Liaison with in-house and 3rd party engineers and tradesmen and council operatives to plan appointments, materials and logistics and reorganising of schedules
• Organisation of external supply companies
• Ensuring all trades are readied and present on-site and works completed in-line with committed client completion dates
• Be able to work in a fast-paced demanding role with constant collaboration with key stakeholders, clients, councils, housing agents, suppliers, and trades

We are seeking a skilled and experienced retail shop manager to join our team. The Retail Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and high-quality shopping experience for our community. This role involves managing staff, maintaining stock levels, handling customer interactions, and upholding store standards to create a trusted environment.

Main duties include:
• Keep an eye on stock levels and ensure popular items are always available.
• Give tasks to the team.
• Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
• Manage restocking to keep shelves full and tidy.
• Keep accurate financial records.
• Work with suppliers for display materials and in-store marketing.
• Make sure the store is clean, organized, and always safe.

Skills and Education:
• Proven experience in retail management or a similar role.
• Strong organisational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of merchandising and customer service best practices.
