Our fantastic client based in Stroud, who are one of the most well-known companies in their industry, are currently recruiting a Purchase Ledger to join their accounts team, on a full-time permanent basis.

Please note that this office building has planned refurbishment works upcoming, and so for a limited time, you will be expected to commute to Sharpness x2 a week instead of the Stroud office, with hybrid working also on offer.

This role is responsible for ensuring all purchase ledger and some generic office functions are administered accurately and to required timescales. Tasks include handling incoming telephone enquiries, reconciling supplier statements and resolving/ responding to queries. It spans 3 separate purchase ledgers, managed within one accounting system.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the Purchase Ledger mailbox and respond to enquiries.
- Forward or scan invoices for processing into the system.
- Investigate and resolve unmatched supplier invoices; escalate as needed.
- Process held invoices according to guidelines and clear discrepancies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and suppliers to reconcile GRNI lists.
- Perform supplier portal reviews during team absences, ensuring prompt document processing.
- Maintain and resolve credit stop issues with suppliers, minimizing recurrence through analysis.
- Regularly review aged creditor reports to resolve outstanding items swiftly.
- Manage credit balances and arrange refunds where appropriate.
- Oversee unallocated cash review and ensure timely resolution by the Accounts Assistant.
- Address unapproved items to facilitate prompt processing.
- Identify and correct invoice errors, obtaining necessary approvals for adjustments.
- Ensure timely updates to ledger documents prior to payment proposals.

About the role…
We have an exciting opportunity for a Bulking Operative to work in our busy Bulking Facility in Gloucester. You will be working with the recycling that comes from properties throughout the Gloucester area.
You will be responsible for assisting the Waste and Recycling management team and administrative staff in communicating information to ensure good customer service in the bulking of different types of recycling materials.

What skills are we looking for?

Ability to setup and machine a range of features on parts such as tapers, slots, radiused grooves to name a few. Be able to consider methods to setup and clamp parts to achieve desired features.
Setting and operating small, mid-range centre lathes,bed mills, vertical borers (experience desirable), radial arm drills, pedestal drills is also required.
Machining composites using LEV, with parts ranging from 5mm -1800m diameter, and 2mm - 3000mm length. (washers, flanged bushes, plain bushes, grooved bearings, split bearings)
Must be confident in their abilities to calculate angles, radii to meet customer drawing features.Ability to design and where necessary make tooling to aid in the machining of specific features will be highly advantageous.
Manual Machinists self-inspect their work with operation First Off's having a secondary inspection performed by a fellow operator before being signed off. As such, it is expected that skilled operators will be confident in the use of standard hand-held inspection equipment with knowledge of CMM and Shadowgraph use considered an advantage.
Experience of working in a target driven production environment.
It will be the Manual Machinists responsibility to be able to read and interpret engineering drawings with a good understanding of the related G, D & T symbols and how they apply to the part.

MAIN PURPOSE
The Raising Achievement in School (RAIS) Manager is responsible for supporting reintegration back into school life and helping students to feel comfortable and confident returning to school and continuing with their learning in mainstream lessons. During their time in RAIS, the RAIS Manager will work with the young person in addressing the circumstances that may have caused their absence or disengagement from lessons, such as medical issues, anxiety, or trauma. They will support them in dealing with these circumstances in the best possible way and help students develop strategies to help them continue with their studies and eventually thrive in lessons.
Identified students referred to RAIS will access a number of sessions in the RAIS classroom, depending on their individual needs, as part of their timetabled week. This role involves developing and implementing strategic reintegration plans tailored to each pupil’s needs, ensuring a smooth and successful transition back into lessons. The manager will work closely with students, families, educational staff, and external agencies to coordinate support, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to promote successful outcomes.
The RAIS Manager will provide effective support to teachers working alongside them and will:
assist the Headteacher, SENCo and teaching staff in the development and implementation of a programme of work specifically tailored to meet the needs of identified students and to support their reintegration back into mainstream lessons

This role is paid predominately on SCP Point 10 (£26,835.00 per annum), with an element of SCP Point 12 (£27,111 per annum) in recognition of aspects of the job description
