The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Head of School to plan, organise and co-ordinate the Construction and Engineering curriculum. You will build strong relationships with both colleagues and employers to enhance the programmes of study, to ensure the curriculum supports learners’ progression and provides knowledge and skills for the future.

You will support the Head of School to drive KPI’s, ensuring challenging targets are set and achieved for recruitment, retention and success of students as well as developing innovative approaches to the curriculum delivery.

You will ensure high levels of quality are maintained by supporting the delivery and design of curriculum to meet the guidelines set by the awarding bodies; ensuring students gain the skills needed for further and higher education, or meaningful employment.

You will be the first point of contact for colleagues and external agencies, so good communication skills and a commitment to the College’s standards and values are essential. We are looking for a proactive and positive individual capable of working with staff across the College on a day-to-day basis.

You will hold a Level 5 teaching qualification, and ideally an assessor and IQA qualification. Teaching commitments will require a qualification with subject knowledge in one of the subject areas taught within the School.

About the role:

We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Asset Data team as an Asset Data Capture Support, on a 12month FTC basis.

As Asset Data Capture support, your role will be to travel within your region to ensure visual on-site visits are carried out on existing and new gas mains / assets that are being worked on by the operational teams throughout the various workstreams. You will additionally support with the site visits that are carried out for existing and new gas mains / assets while pipes are exposed, ensuring Operational Staff are notified of any DR4 Requirements, Shallow Mains Deviations, Stub Ends, Valve/ Governor Cards or Deviations from Design, including any H Code findings via Ctrl HUB forms.

As well as this, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the records for completed works are accurately captured to the required standard and returned to the Asset Data Team within appropriate prescribed timelines, identifying and escalating any discrepancies to their Team Leader, the Asset Data Team & Customer Operations, where appropriate.

This role will also require you to attend and constructively participate in regular team briefs, and where necessary attend internal/external training supporting with covering times of absence/annual leave, which may sometimes require flexibility around weekend working.

- Where required, support with Service Compliance Activities (Domestic / Non-Domestic), Plant Protection, DR/8 Compliance, CSEP Mapping Assistance.
- Liaise with Site Manager to advise where there is need for Records of Asset Errors (DR4/RbP and supporting information), valve cards and/or governor cards, syphons and other appropriate plant items to be recorded, DCT Calendars, Whereabouts Activities and Allocated Reports (ensuring they are included on drawings).
- Ensure the abandonment dates for each section of pipe on all project streets are correctly recorded, routine Operations (RO's) / Non-Routine Operation (NRO's) are appropriately referenced for all assets laid and assets abandoned, ensure Live Insertion Works are captured accurately with co-ordination with Operations. If a Live Head is left in situ, this should be recorded using the Viewing Dome Location and Pipe Protection & Cathodic Protection are referenced appropriately.

My client is looking for a caring and clinically motivated Veterinary Surgeon with a positive attitude and full confidence in routine surgical and medical procedures to step into a senior role. They are a large, experienced and friendly 14 FTE vet team led by two accomplished and supportive clinical directors, one being a certificate holder in small animal surgery, who are both deeply passionate about development and clinical freedom. Others are training for certificates in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and the practice is proud to offer an advanced range of soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures, as well as advanced diagnostic imaging, to their clients. Therefore, you can be sure that this team will provide the highest standard of care, 100% of the time.

The successful candidate will be a friendly, compassionate, and proactive Veterinary Surgeon with at least six years of experience and full confidence in all routine surgical and medical procedures. You will be happy to work collaboratively in a busy environment whilst taking pride in providing exceptional patient care. You will play a key role in expanding and enhancing the services of two of their branch practices that have both grown exponentially this year. There is a fantastic caseload available for a Vet who is wanting to start a certificate or already working towards one. They are also an accredited nurse training practice and offer a clear development pathway for new graduates, the latter of which will be an important aspect of your responsibilities. If you are already VetGDP accredited, that would be an added bonus!

Their full-time rota is only 35 hours a week for 4 days, with one early 5pm finish every week. You will only work 1 in 7 Saturdays and receive time off in lieu the following week, and there are no OOHs whatsoever! The practice is excellently located just a short walk to the town centre, whilst being only a 30-minute drive to Luton Airport and a 50 minute train into central London.
