Adult ENT patients at LRI are managed on Ward 9 which is a 18 bedded mixed adult ward shared with plastic surgery and maxillofacial surgery. The Kinmonth Unit provides high dependency care for airway patients and patients undergoing head and neck surgery. We also have an Adult Surgical Dayward located on Balmoral Level 2 adjacent to the theatres. The department of ENT is an extremely busy one, providing a combination of 35 inpatient and day case operating lists with dedicated paediatric theatres. These are all run through the central operating department and Surgical Day Ward. Our outpatient department is a dedicated ENT department supported by audiology currently based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary with plans to expand into the Elective Care HUB at the Leicester General Hospital at the end of the year. The outpatients department provides accommodation for the medical staff in fully equipped individual consulting rooms. TheEast Midlands Planned Care Centre (EMPCC) at the Leicester General Hospital will consist of two theatres, 21 recovery beds (4 first stage & 17 second stage) and 12 post operative recovery beds with a Medical Day Case Unit consisting of 18 medical daycase treatment areas. There will be an outpatients department which has 14 outpatient clinic rooms, 4 procedures rooms & 6 recovery beds. MAIN PURPOSE OF POST
• To assist in the administration of the on-line testing service
• To provide excellent customer facing service at all times in the clinic's reception areas.
• To deal with patient enquires by telephone and face to face
• To provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the outpatients clinics

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate requests from patients and clinical staff to book appointments into Inform and other systems at times appropriate to individual patient request, clinical priority and procedure using a knowledge of clinical procedures and booking systems to resolve appointment arrangement conflicts and minimise patient journeys.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, always delivering compassionate excellence.

Job Details

• Designing, building and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  
• Performing advanced data analysis using SQL and other querying tools to extract and interpret complex data sets
  
• Creating detailed reports, visualisations and presentations to communicate findings to our Contact Centre Management
  
• Leveraging automation tools to streamline reporting processes, reduce manual efforts and improve efficiency and identifying and proposing improvements in data-driven processes that alight with business goals
  
• Working with data from primary or secondary data sources and ensuring data accuracy, integrity and timely updates in reporting systems
  
• Providing guidance and mentorship to our junior analysts, promotion best practices in data analysis, reporting and BI tool usage
  
  
  

Skills we would love you to have

• Strong technical skills (Advanced SQL, Advanced Excel, VBA, Power BI) alongside a strong understanding of Cloud technologies, development approaches, tool and techniques (e.g Snowflake Data Warehouse)

Job Details

• Designing and agreeing the colleague communications strategy for the Insurer Services department (Claims and Fraud)
  
• Strengthening alignment between all areas within Insurer Services to ensure effective distribution of colleague comms, including emails and internal pages
  
• Supporting the ongoing delivery of the operational communications and engagement strategy
  
• Working with all leaders across the department to support the creation and delivery of timely, suitable and effective strategic, planned and ad-hoc colleague comms
  
• Managing the creation and distribution of weekly huddle packs and monthly release packs
  
• Supporting agreed projects within colleague comms and providing ad-hoc incident comms when needed and maintaining the colleague distribution list

This role focuses on leading and developing the site electrical team while ensuring compliance with all electrical systems. You will create and implement plans to reduce downtime and production/service costs. This position offers an ambitious individual the opportunity to drive improvements and tackle faults proactively. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance for both LV and HV systems. You will delegate and implement improvement work and action plans on time and within budget, support site-wide electrical maintenance and improvements using tools such as Coswin, monitor breakdowns and faults while implementing reliability enhancements, and mentor electrical team members by promoting effective fault-finding and documenting corrective actions.

Ideal requirements include experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs in high-speed manufacturing or similar systems, familiarity with computerised maintenance systems and electrical installation projects, being a time-served Electrical Engineering Apprentice with 18th Edition qualification, and safe working practices including Lock Off/Tag Out. You will be commutable to Leicester and will have ideally worked as a lead electrical engineer or supervisor or you are currently an electrical maintenance engineer looking for the next step in your career.

Your new role

Working as a Cover Supervisor through Hays, you will benefit from working in a variety of schools without the pressures of planning or marking!
