trustworthy and compassionate people to join our Support Housing team to oversee the smooth running of our building but also give

Our Housing Duty Workers are at the heart and soul of our housing team; being the first person most of our residents come into
contact with; you will be there to support them with anything they need but also oversee the smooth running of the building in
general.

Being a Housing Duty Worker is one of the busiest and most varied roles in our service; you will cover everything from support
work, incidents, administration, security, fire safety, cleaning support, and anything else that might crop up while you are on

predict exactly what will happen that day!



You will support our residents by:

· Being there to provide advice and assistance

License Agreement

You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour per week. We work on a 3 week rolling rota so you would have advance warning of your
shift patterns.

The weekly shift patterns are:

7am - 3pm

3pm - 11pm

11am - 7pm



We have made sure our shift patterns are fully accessible by public transport no matter what time you start or finish.



We have our own team of weekend Housing Officers so there is no need for you to work weekends, unless you wanted overtime!

The Work Health and Skills team part of Economic Affairs are looking to recruit someone to help support with the administrative duties of the ESOL Advice Service team, working across multiple Microsoft applications and digital platforms. There will also be opportunities to get involved in the wider work of the team including the variety of different projects and events that we are responsible for delivering.

The role will be supporting the project that works with people from a variety of different communities and backgrounds, so it’s really important that the person has a good understanding of some of the economic inequalities that people experience and the impact that this can have, especially on those that face multiple barriers including lack of English language. The ESOL Advice Service team works with a large number of people whose first language isn’t English, so we need someone that is able to communicate effectively with this cohort and have an understanding of the different ethnic and cultural backgrounds that live across the borough.

Although the role is initially for twelve months the post holder will be supported to access any relevant training to support them with their own continuous professional development and be supported with to access other opportunities both internally and externally.

The RBC Information Governance Team is responsible for managing information requests made to the Council including freedom of information requests, subject access requests and other data protection/GDPR requests. Our customers include members of the public, businesses, councillors, colleagues within the Council and staff from a number of partner agencies, including the Police and the NHS.

The Information Governance Assistant role is responsible for providing a general administrative support function to the team and for keeping oversight of all live requests by using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and following outlined processes to log, assign and monitor the progress of team activities.

The Information Governance Assistant will also undertake actions where possible to satisfactorily resolve requests at this first point of contact.

Key tasks would include:

• Monitoring the Information Governance and Freedom of Information Mailboxes.
• Logging new information requests upon the CRM system.
• Managing and maintaining the CRM system to ensure processes are followed and activities/progress on requests can be evidenced and kept on track.
• Providing responses for customers when requests have been resolved.
• Signposting customers to information already in the public domain e.g. documents already published on the Council website or elsewhere which would potentially resolve a request at the first point of contact.
• Producing a range of statistical reports

We are looking to appoint an individual on a temporary contract to provide 12 months of maternity cover in this role.

Prior experience of working in an Information Governance and Data Protection environment is not essential as on the job training will be provided.
