An exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher, or someone new to the profession, to teach KS3 and KS4 Science at this successful and growing academy.

Having achieved the best results in the school’s history in summer 2023, followed by a visit from Ofsted in May 2024, where we were judged as a strong ‘Good’ in all areas, Buckler’s Mead Academy is going from strength to strength. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Registered Nurse to join us in leading our nursing service in Norton Fitzwarren. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

The people we support at this service have been diagnosed with conditions such as Huntington’s, Acquired Brain Injuries, Strokes, Cerebral Palsy and Learning Disabilities. This wide range of conditions ensures that Nurses continue to develop and learn new skills on a day-to-day basis. Our Registered Nurses are supported to continue with their CPD and are provided with CPD training in areas’ including: Dementia, pain management, stoma care, catheter care, verification of death.

As a Registered Nurse with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, ensuring the clinical needs of the people we support are met. Our Registered Nurse’s are masterful at developing a close working relationship with the people we support, which means that we can centre their nursing and care needs as our main priority. Our Registered Nurse’s are also natural leaders and are skilled in planning and delivering clinical care and providing support and guidance to our care colleagues. You do not need experience as a Legal Assistant for this role but having worked for a council or NHS would be advantageous.
This role is full time permanent Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (potentially 4 days a week would be considered)
This role starts at £24k but would go up to £29k depending on experience if you have worked as a Legal Assistant before.

Your new role
To provide both clerical and administrative support to fee earners, either as part of a team or individually. The role plays a vital part in the administration and smooth running of the business. Secretaries are involved with the coordination and implementation of office procedures and may be responsible for specific tasks or projects and, in some cases, oversee and supervise junior staff.

A main contractor is recruiting a Site Engineer for a town improvement project in Yeovil. The business is a multi-discipline company with projects upwards of £500m across several divisions including highways, building and rail however they also have a secure flow of work from frameworks for local authorities, National Highways, water companies and the Environment Agency.

Site Engineer duties include:

· Setting out with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)

· Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications

· Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)

· Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement

· Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification

· Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations

· Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD

The successful candidate will join a long term contract assignment.
