Job Description

You will be a member of the team responsible for managing IT Infrastructure and delivering End User Computing (EUC) services to all SIA Group employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT Infrastructure used for delivering End User Computing (EUC) services, which includes authentication and authorisation services, single sign-on, remote access, desktop virtualization, end-point security, file and print services.
• Directly responsible for managing EUC private cloud based on Nutanix HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure), including capacity management, procurement and deployment of data centre servers used for EUC services.

An engineering qualification (Bachelor's degree, minimum)
Extensive knowledge in design
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in complex drawings
Effective communication skills, - as you will be liaising with other staff and suppliers
The ability to work 5 days on site

A keen interest in the outdoors is advantageous but not essential

The service you will be based at is a 3 minute walk from Mile End. There are many amenities around, such as local shops and buses. This makes it easy to travel from and to the service. The service consists of 41 flats providing residential nursing care.

You will have advanced skills in positive communication and engagement, and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for all of our service users. You will support people to maintain a healthy state of wellbeing - mentally, physically and emotionally. You will (alongside members of the person’s support circle) empower individuals to be happy, healthy, and successful in achieving their life goals. Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation which provides high-quality, person-centred support to people with physical disabilities, mental health needs, learning disabilities and other support needs. The support we offer is tailored to each service user’s individual needs and encourages independence and community engagement.

Creative Support is committed to your continuous professional development. As a successful candidate, you will receive a full local and corporate induction, and attain a level 3 certificate in ‘Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care’. On completion of your probationary period, you will automatically be enrolled onto the NVQ level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care. You will have the opportunity to discuss your training and development needs during regular supervision and appraisal meetings.

You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including, but not limited to, providing support with personal care and domestic tasks, and supporting individuals to access work, education and social opportunities. We value the personal skills and interests you bring to the role and to the lives of the people we support, such as sports and outdoor pursuits, creative arts, music and cooking.

You will be required to work in a flexible manner, on a roster basis, which will include evenings and weekends. Previous experience, whilst desirable, is not essential – what we need most from you is gumption and a can-do attitude. You can chose to be paid on a weekly or monthly basis.
