Package DescriptionSalary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum (FTE)
Mon-Fri, full-time position but part-time considered (3 days per week minimum)

Main ResponsibilitiesAs an Area Trainer, you will be based at our head office in Salisbury and you will cover our outlying offices in Basingstoke, Bradford on Avon and Swindon. You will be responsible for delivering our bespoke induction which includes Care Certificate training in England, through to more specialist care training. The role will also involve training, mentoring and coaching our key workers and managers. Part of the role includes working alongside care staff in the community as needed. As part of the Abicare training team, you will keep up to date with best practice by attending conferences and ensuring our employees are developing their skills either through in-house training or external apprenticeships/Diplomas.
The Ideal CandidateYou should possess:

Previous experience in working within the Health & Social care sector

Recognised Teaching Qualification at Level 3 or above e.g. PTLLS, Cert Ed, L3 AET (for the right candidate Abicare will support the individual to gain the required qualifications)

Knowledge of CQC Regulations

Strong organizational and communication skills – written, IT and verbal

Proficient in using online training platforms and tools

Ability to work independently as well as part of the training team

Proven track record in achieving Targets and Quality Standards

This position is subject to a satisfactory DBS and references
The successful applicant will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
