Systems Engineer

Serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and apply systems engineering practices to support the development and acquisition of war fighting information systems in various stages of development and acquisition. As a member of our team, we are looking for you to solve complex challenges and shape national security by participating in Agile systems engineering and integration efforts. Lead or support technical and engineering tasks for the customer, including the design, requirements analysis, systems analysis, development, system-of-systems integration, acquisition planning, test and evaluation, mission or capability planning, reliability, or maintainability of information systems.
Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these information systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You Have:
8+ years of experience with systems engineering of DoD system
3+ years of experience with performing systems engineering, integration, and testing of DoD or Government Agency information systems or applications
Experience with Agile systems development
Experience with system architecture and design, requirements analysis and management, interface definition and management, verification and validation, or trade study design and execution
Experience with the system development life cycle
Ability to write technical documentation and create design artifacts
Ability to develop and document effective processes
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Networks and Security, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics
Nice If You Have:
Experience with systems utilizing Cloud based infrastructure
Experience in leading engineering teams
Experience using model-based systems engineering methods and tools
Experience using or managing Marine Corps C4I Systems
Ability to analyze customer capabilities and develop requirements
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
Agile Certification
INCOSE ASEP Certification
ASEP, OCSMP, A+, Network+, Security+ CE, CCENT, MCTS, or MCITP Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
