Are you a tech enthusiast with a passion for education? Do you dream of making a real impact by merging innovative technology with learning? We seek a dynamic and visionary Technology Support Officer to join our team. This exciting role is key to bridging the gap between IT support and using Technology in our Schools to enhance teaching and learning.
As a Technology Support Officer, you'll be at the forefront of transforming educational experiences through the effective use of Technology and IT. You'll work hands-on with staff and students, pioneering cutting-edge tech initiatives and shaping the future of learning. This role isn't just about fixing IT issues; it's about being a catalyst for educational innovation and driving a tech-savvy culture within our schools.
In addition to your hands-on work, you will also play a strategic role. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement the Trust's wider technology strategy at the school level, providing valuable insights and guidance to integrate technology seamlessly into the school's operational and educational framework.
You will be based at Unity City Academy (Secondary School) in Middlesbrough, which is also the location of our regional office that provides central services to 15 Academies in our Northern Region. As well as Unity City….. you will be expected to visit and work closely with our two local Primary Academies - Caldicotes and North Ormesby Primary. There will also be opportunities to travel to other sites within the Trust and Educational events held around the Country.
