This position is located within the Bedford VA Medical Center in Bedford, MA, performing law enforcement work for the preservation of peace and the prevention, detection, and investigation of crimes occurring on Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) controlled property.

As Security Engineer, Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst at Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), you will be responsible for supporting the Cyber Security Manager and the Identity and Access Manager with cybersecurity and IAM operations, continuous service improvement and identity management, protecting the organisation’s cloud technology platforms, data and identities.

You will be the public face of the Council.

We’re looking for a Fire & Security Engineer to join us at Yarl’s Wood Immigration Centre in Bedfordshire – a fully contained residential centre housing adult men and women. We focus on decency and respect in all aspects of care for our residents and use continuous innovation to further improve and develop our service.

As our new Fire & Security Engineer, you will report into the Facilities Manager and work alongside a team of multi-skilled engineers within the Facilities Services Team to carry out maintenance works in all aspects of security systems.

You will carry out system reactive and preventative maintenance works in all aspects of security systems, fire detection, life safety equipment whilst complying with all Health & Safety legislations. You must be able to carry out investigations into the performance of the plant and equipment installed on site and produce related reports and recommendations as may be required. - Assist in specifying and obtaining spare parts/other items of equipment to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of the technical estate.
- Ensuring various pre-planned maintenance schedules are kept up to date and maintained.

About The Role
We have a vacancy for a Security Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site. You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.

Our department are looking for someone to provide leadership and management to the Council’s neighbourhood enforcement team with specific regard to the daily deployment of all Neighbourhood Enforcement Officers.

You’ll be responsible for the day to day running of the Neighbourhood Enforcement Unit including immediate responsibility for the staff, equipment, vehicles and performance of the unit, helping to support the Trading Standards & Neighbourhood Enforcement Manager to provide a cost effective, efficient, enforcement service that remains customer focused and driven in a potentially difficult environment.
