Main Duties: To be aware of and ensure compliance with all aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies.Fully and satisfactorily complete all of the tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's). A rota of 4 days on four days off is in place and moves across the 24 hrs 7 days a week that the site operates through To be compliant with Industry and Statutory Legislation (you are required to obtain a front-line license in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision), which must be worn at all times whilst carrying out your duties. The Customer also requires a CCTV PSS SIA License. There are also additional courses that are contractually required. Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role. Training: Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training. To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the Security Account Manager. You are required to ensure you renew your license 16 weeks before expiry.

Security and Health & Safety: Look out for, and to immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site. Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment in order to take the appropriate action to reduce the chance of disruption, loss or damage. Use common sense and initiative by immediately involving others if a situation appears to become threatening. To maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers. Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry as soon as possible after any incident, which can then be used as part of the Incident Report process. Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client.To ensure check calls are being carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions (AI's).To call emergency services and Communication Centre to report all incidents.

Main Duties

-To be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Security.

South London Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) is looking for an enthusiastic Research Nurse to join the Agile Workforce team.

The Research Nurse will play a key role in ensuring that any research undertaken within the Care settings department safeguards the wellbeing of the patients and is conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and Amended Regulations 2006.

Working collaboratively with the clinical trials team and the wider multidisciplinary team in the management of research patients. They will also act as a patient advocate providing support and assistance as required and assist in the coordination and management of a portfolio of clinical research studies.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly across sites within the RDN: South London geography. The employing Trust will be Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

PSD sets security strategy provides expert advice and delivers an operational service. The Role

PSD are looking to appoint two Security Support Assistants within the award-winning Members' Security Support Service (MSSS).

A high level of confidentiality and sensitivity is required in respect of security matters and related discussions. The post holders will ideally have an understanding of security measures, although training will be given.

Some of the responsibilities for this role include:

• Act as a key point of liaison for Members and their staff to raise queries and concerns regarding the recommended security measures process.
• Support House security events by representing MSSS; ensuring that Members and their staff are aware of the support that our team and measures can offer.
• Monitor and log security information and specifications from the security contractor to ensure that all required paperwork is completed correctly and log financial information from specifications accurately into the MSSS register/records.
• Oversee bookings or work schedules & services (such as maintenance requirements) provided by the supplier(s) to ensure it is contractually compliant, and disputes are raised and resolved in a timely fashion ensuring our customers receive great service.
• Work with security contractors to process and authorise new orders, equipment or services; maintaining an audit trail with appropriate analysis and asset management records.

Key Responsibilities:
* Processing client and office account transactions, including payments, receipts, and transfers
* Daily bank reconciliations for client and office accounts
* Monitoring client account balances and ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)
* Processing legal aid payments and other disbursements
* Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
* Liaising with fee earners and external parties regarding account queries
* Assisting with VAT returns and other financial reporting as required

Experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor is required of at least 1 year

Key Responsibilities:

To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site at all times as required by the Client Representative(s)
To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site at all times and report any breach of these immediately to the Duty Manager or the Contract Manager
Must have the ability to communicate at all levels and be responsible for the central standards and reporting function to the security control room. In order to do this, they should have excellent written and spoken communication skills that allow them to inform and advise others clearly
Will be responsible for the recording of all incidents and issues which concern their areas of responsibility
Will have the ability to perform investigations to the highest standard and be highly competent on reporting their findings
Will be responsible for the standards and training of staff
Will ensure all on-going/refresher training is in place 6 monthly to ensure staff competency
Will ensure ongoing fire awareness refresher training of security staff and when directed by the Deputy Ops manager for the estate, assist with refresher of Service providers and estate management
Will monitor and report on the central training matrix for the wider contract
Deliver and encourage outstanding customer service delivery
Will assist in the operational planning and deployment of resources for all planned projects and events across the site
To respond to all incidents, taking ownership of the situation through to its natural conclusion to both client and management satisfaction
To identify and drive innovation across the contract
Empower the estate team to report defects, difference in the environment whilst out on the estate
Will demonstrate, promote, and mentor the Broadgate and Ultimate visions and values
Carry out any other reasonable request as required by the Client/Site Management

Operations

Report & liaise on a daily basis with the Deputy Operations Managers to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to the delivery of a high standard professional security service
Liaise with the Deputy Operations Managers on any problems which may occur throughout the day
Liaise with all zone supervisors to ensure complete coverage of the estate and manage any areas where responsibilities overlap
Assist in the planning and delivery of external events, held regularly across the contract
Build and foster good relationships with retailers within your area of responsibility
Ensuring that all staff are fully trained and competent in their roles and carrying out their required duties with regards to the CCTV, Fire and Security systems, and all other systems appropriate to this area of responsibility
Ensure that all equipment is managed, used, monitored and reported defective in accordance with policies and procedures
Provide effective support to the client’s Incident Management representative and undertake incident management responsibilities training as defined by the client
Ensure all Non-Conformities identified are registered, actioned and closed within the agreed timeframe
Ensure, with support via supervisory staff, all staff work in safe conditions, acting upon all reports of accidents and faults and that staff carry out their duties in accordance with procedures and policies
Monitor the central estate training matrix and ensure appropriate training (derived from both internal & external courses) is delivered to individual staff in accordance with the agreed contract
Ensure compliance with SLA requirements, minimising associated risks to the company and to the customer
Maintain a good level of morale and discipline within the team taking into consideration their welfare
Set high personal standards for others to follow.
