As a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC LEADER, WL-5801-10, you will assign work orders to specific crewmembers and select workers for various jobs on the basis of knowledge, skills, and abilities; assure that there is enough work to keep the work crew busy; troubleshoot, perform maintenance and major repairs on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles; troubleshoot equipment and diagnose the cause of mechanical failures; remove and disassemble engines and major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and fuel, hydraulic, and oil pressure systems; independently perform repairs and maintenance functions with little or no supervision in remote locations; conduct readiness and repair inspections on vehicles and associated equipment supported by the activity; assist in the maintenance of production reports and records, and make recommendations to the supervisor.

• Plan and complete carpentry/roofing/masonry projects from initial layout to final assembly or installation.
• Perform various gas welding processes to weld metals and alloys of various sizes and shapes.
• Construct, install, modify, alter, repair, and replace all sheet metal components.
• Repair, replace, and install all types of key locks in or on building structures.
• Perform asbestos and mold removal operations.

Do you have experience in leading a team?  NRMA Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park at North Narrabeen is seeking a Full Time Permanent, Grounds and Maintenance Manager!  You will work a steady 9-5 from Friday - Tuesday.

What you will do:

Our Grounds and Maintenance team will ensure the highest possible standards in presentation and safety of assets, grounds and facilities.  As department manager, you will settle into our Head of Department management structure and assist in providing leadership, oversight and daily coordination to grounds and maintenance duties, task allocation and team rosters. You will ensure effective communication and liaison with other park management, to guarantee a smooth resort operation and product.  You will:

• Ensure the grounds and maintenance team have direction daily and receive any training and development that may be required. 
• Ensure adequate coverage as required 
• Ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained 
• Attend and contribute to leadership meetings as required
• Ensure and maintain a safe environment for our employees and guests 
• Wear your uniform with pride – you are happy to get your hands dirty to support your team and go the extra mile with a smile on your dial to assist our guests 
• Act on incidental guest service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across our sites, cabins, villas, amenities and other facilities.
• Assist the team to service water park - repairs and maintenance as required
• Assist with any on site projects, or repairs as required.

• Proven experience in leading, influencing and bringing out the ‘best’ in a team
• Trade qualification (or similar) is a bonus but not necessary
• Hands on experience in maintenance of plant, gardens and in operating related equipment/machinery

Your new role
You will be working as a Team leader, this is a mobile position so you will be expected to manage a team of 3-5 operatives with day-to-day repairs and maintenance within the properties across the region, covering Huddersfield - Whitby and more, a van is included in this role as a mobile team leader.

Trade knowledge (multi trade knowledge is preferable)
NVQ or C&G is preferred
Clean UK Full Drivers Licence
Must pass a Basic DBS
Must be able to provide two work related references

Engineering Maintenance Manager (Manufacturing) Ayrshire

Job Description
I am dealing with a good client of mine who is a large industrial manufacturer to assist them in sourcing an Engineering Maintenance Manager for their site in Ayrshire. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the ideal candidate will come from a mechanical or electrical background and have in-depth knowledge and experience in heavy industry with a proven track record in good manufacturing practice and lean principles.

You will be responsible for all maintenance mechanical and electrical work, automation, site projects and maintenance systems on site. You will work closely with operations to manage the sites' production capacity to deliver on the Group's strategic objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Lead the maintenance team of fitters and electricians to deliver high performance process efficiency.
* Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills to ensure performance of people and equipment is optimised.
* Comprehensive knowledge and experience of asset management, reliability, maintenance strategy, organisation and systems, including planning, CMMS, preventive and condition-based maintenance.
* Ensure the maintenance function operates on the site requires Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
* Planning and developing PEMAC / CMMS systems to deliver maximum line/process efficiency including energy, plant services and utilities.
* Delivery of KPIs: downtime, uptime, PM schedules and workflow.
* Implement best plant practices in process engineering & maintenance systems involving new technology and design standards.
* Development of the maintenance team's capability and skills, leading performance review, training and individual on the job coaching/mentoring and support to best industry standards.
* Responsible for cost management in the maintenance and engineering functions, delivering costs to weekly KPI budgets including energy and projects.
* Developing Maintenance Lean Systems using tools and techniques to meet continuous improvement targets that are critical to the success and delivery of a high-performance plant.
* Working with external contractors and installations companies to complete in-house maintenance and project work to the required standards.

Essential Skills and Experience

* Qualification in Engineering - mechanical & electrical background, or related field or equivalent knowledge and experience.
* Minimum 10 years' maintenance/engineering management experience is essential; heavy industry experience is an advantage.
* Knowledge of maintenance strategies e.g. RCM, TPM, Asset Management are desirable.
* Knowledge and experience to promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory standards.
* Reduces complexity and increases efficiency in processes to maximise outcome/return.
