Your new role
Within your new role as an NDT Technician, you will be expected to complete RT, VT, MT & PT tests and carry out the inspection of products at various stages of the production process, with an emphasis on non-destructive testing (NDT).

Some of your more direct duties will include:

• Review part prints, procedures and work instructions to complete testing.
• Set up and perform non-destructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics: position parts between electrodes of magnetic testing equipment and activates switch to induce magnetic field that attracts and accumulates iron oxide particles at defective points.
• Coordinating with Quality Management on all applicable issues.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, it is essential you have:

• Relevant qualifications in accordance with ISO9712
• CSWIP and/or PCN certifications
• UK driving licence
• Valid British passport

Your relevant experience for this role should also include:

• The ability to read and accurately interpret drawings/specifications.
• The ability to use Quality Instruments, i.e. Weld gauges, micrometres, steel rulers, etc.
• Exposure of working within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment
• Driving Continuous Improvement/Lean manufacturing

o Engineering project managing as required (e.g. researching new machinery/equipment, processes etc)

o Work closely with the factory manager to review and implement factory improvements

We are seeking dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operators to join a reputable utility company.

This role focuses on general grounds upkeep at wastewater sites across the region.

The position is based in Oldham, but requires travel to various locations, occasionally as far as Crewe and Whitehaven, typically working in small teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine groundskeeping duties, including grass trimming, hedge cutting, and leaf blowing to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of sites.
• Travel to wastewater sites within the designated area. The role will require travel to various locations with occasional long-distance trips.

Requirements

• A full, valid UK driving licence is required for travel between sites.
• Applicants must be able to pass a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to grounds maintenance in various weather conditions.

Your new role
Working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer your main day to day duties will cary depenant on the support needed for the client but generally you will be required to do both Electrical and Fabric maintenance such as:

• Pre planned maintenance
• Reactive works such as socket changes
• Fire alarm testing
• Emergency light testing

Other duties will include keeping the client up to date, keeping documentation in line with compliance, following health and safety and any other ad hoc duties.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Facilities Management team working within the Workplace Delivery service. The position will involve contributing towards the general maintenance and cleanliness of buildings alongside logistical movements across the estate. 
You will be highly motivated and organised, with the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload when dealing with reactive issues. Multiple applications, systems and associated software packages will be used daily, therefore ICT skills are desirable but not essential as full training will be given.  

Your main responsibilities will include:

• The directing of Facilities Assistants (Level 1 & 2) to ensure all cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with our procedures and standards. You will monitor this by conducting regular site visits, completing site audit forms, and liaising with building users. 
• Effectively maintaining the internal and external appearance and cleanliness of buildings and the immediate surrounding areas, carrying out inspections, liaising with customers and reporting identified issues. 
• Manual Handling of loads using appropriate equipment including the driving of vehicles requiring a normal driving License. 
• Undertake Minor Repairs including some working at height and use of small hand tools. 
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and independently to ensure safe working environments and practices, adhering to all health and safety regulations. 
• Undertaking of building based safety inspections and legal compliance safety checks such weekly Fire Alarm tests. 
• Carrying out all tasks in accordance with procedures and to the required quality standards to deliver a customer focused service. 

You must be available to work shift patterns within our core hours of 06:00 and 19:00.

The Facilities Management team is part of the Corporate Estates team and is responsible for  various different types of buildings citywide. We are committed to providing excellent service  and surpass building users expectations by ensuring environments are:
