ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Daily interior cleaning of the building including emptying waste receptacles, debris and trash removal, vacuuming/shampooing floors and carpets, dusting and cleaning furniture, cleaning and restocking restrooms, washing walls, polishing, mopping floors, placing down mats/runners in inclement weather, cleaning up spills, cleaning windows and window coverings, etc., in accordance with established procedures and as directed by a Supervisor

• May be directed to assist with minor maintenance and repair work, including painting, replacement of light bulbs and fixtures (interior and exterior), replacement of windows, moving furniture and equipment, repairing doors and gates, minor landscaping and related upkeep and repairs, and simple plumbing and fixture repairs/replacements
• Other assigned duties (depending on the building, facility, and client needs) may include gardening and lawn care, assisting with inventory control and supply ordering, snow removal (including salting/ sanding), and assisting with tenant moves
• Expected to promptly notify management of spills and emergency situations, need for major and minor building/facility repairs, lights that are out or broken, broken equipment and fixtures, damaged structures, ruptured pipes/plumbing, problems with heating/cooling and ventilation and any other observable safety issues/concerns
• Expected to properly and safely use and operate related equipment, tools, devices, and chemical/cleaning agents, including mops, vacuums, electric polishing machines, power tools and equipment, and special cleaning solutions in order to efficiently perform the duties and to avoid harming floors, fixtures, individuals, and themselves

What Will I Be Doing?

THE JOB

MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre is seeking a Cleaning and Housekeeping Clerk to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including by not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keep all guest facing area free of trash, restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed.
• Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
• Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting

Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas. Spot clean daily and shampoo when directed rugs. Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces including periodic high dusting.

Wash windowsills; glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows.

Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.

Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily.  Standard bathroom procedures are to damp wipe glass surfaces, empty waste baskets, service soap and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc.

Monitors possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, and reports to supervisors.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Perform building level GMP cleaning.
• Administrative responsibilities include completing electronic cleaning log record keeping of cleaning procedures.
• Must be able to perform sanitization activities
• Maintain compliance with required training (SOP and Safety)
• Ensure GMP Cleaners adhere to SOP and sanitization practices
• Reviews cleaning log daily to ensure adhere to GDP
• Responsible the proper sanitization disinfectant rotation is followed and that the proper sanitization disinfectant is used for each assignment
• Responsible for completing required GMP documentation to ensure records are properly and accurately maintained
• Responsible for organization and upkeep of sanitization supply areas
• Responsible to participate in cycle counting and inventory of sanitization supplies and gowning articles to maintain inventory properly stocked for daily sanitization.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, GMP Operations Manager, and Quality teams to manage schedules necessary to sanitize the GMP controlled environment and support areas to comply with GMP requirements
• Participate in required training on the use of sanitization disinfectants and equipment
• Understands and follows proper procedures with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to gown and wear proper PPE for majority of shift following client established gowning procedures.
• Empty, clean all waste receptacles and remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated area; damp wipe receptacles as necessary.
• Vacuum all floors utilizing cleanroom rated vacuum.
• Damp mop all floors using a variety of cleanroom disinfectants and utilizing cleanroom rated equipment following established cleanroom cleaning procedures.
• Wipe, clean all horizontal & vertical surfaces, to include doors, door frames, & entrance glass and partitions with IPA. (Excludes workstations & equipment)
• Pull tacky mats
• Clean under tacky mats
• Damp dust all ceiling air conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, register and other ventilating louvers.
• Properly clean floor services as needed.
