• Provides Quality Assurance advice and coordination on assigned Engineering Technical Management (ETM) Team supporting the Captains of Industry (COI) strategic contract.
• Performs Quality/Technical oversight of DLA materials provided to the customer and has the ability to adapt and be resourceful in unexpected situations.
• Provides evaluation of contractor performance with respect to quality of DLA materials received by the activity and recommends corrective actions to Supply Centers.
• Reviews technical, contracting and quality history data and develops contract quality provisions specific to each item.
• Responds to customer complaints on Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs). Investigates, resolves, and takes corrective action to prevent recurrence of PQDRs.
• Furnishes technical assistance to Acquisition Specialists regarding evaluation of offers and Best Value/Source Selection.
• Develops materials required for briefings as requested and participates in meetings involving assigned projects, programs and/or items.

• Conduct inspections of heavy mobile equipment and vehicle components repaired by shop personnel.
• Conduct inspections on a variety of combustion powered automotive vehicles and trucks.
• Use technical manuals and manufacturer specifications to determine requirements.
• Evaluate work completed to ensure it has been completed in accordance with standards and specifications.
• Ensure quality control is maintained.
• Review work/job orders.
• Post repairs or services to appropriate records.
• Complete a variety of inspection reports and forms.
• Troubleshoot equipment, make adjustments, remove and replace parts, accessories and components.
