Corporate Business Systems Solution Architect
Key Role:
Serve as a solution architect leading a specialized new group focused on operational excellence and custom development of enterprise business systems. Work across functionally aligned service areas inside our business systems portfolio to first understand and then help optimize their SDLC processes, technical architecture, and key operational metrics, with the intention of collectively improving operational delivery to our customers. Maintain high system availability, managing security vulnerabilities, minimizing production issues, and optimizing overall performance and user experience. Lead the development of custom solutions to meet business needs that cannot be addressed through existing systems in the portfolio. Ensure that they are designed, documented, developed, and deployed according to industry best-practices and in compliance with various regulatory standards such as Sarbanes-Oxley. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and operating enterprise technical solutions for 10K+ users in a regulated, corporate environment
- 10+ years of experience with system design and architecture, including integrating multiple commercial ERP systems and custom-developed applications
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, or operating commercial and custom enterprise applications subject to various types of audit and regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley
- Ability to establish and maintain high standards of operational excellence for commercial and custom enterprise applications
- Ability to develop strategic roadmaps and manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and technologies
- Ability to mentor team members across the portfolio and promote a culture focused on operational excellence
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial enterprise business system products including Deltek Costpoint, Ivalua, Workday, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Experience with custom development and integration platforms including Filemaker Pro, Microsoft PowerPlatform, and MuleSoft
- Experience operating in an Agile software development and delivery environment using applications like JIRA, Confluence, Git, and Aha Roadmaps

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $118,000.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
