The Property Team is redefining how we manage assets across Northern, and as the TRU (Transpennine Route Upgrade) Property Business Partner, you’ll ensure effective solid relationships with key stakeholders while supporting the wider property team in managing all key contracts. You’ll handle the development and implementation of Regional Asset Management Plans, providing strategic direction for our asset management practices.
What you do will go beyond routine tasks; you’re setting the direction for our future asset management. You’ll be at the forefront of managing stakeholder expectations whilst handling administrative volumes, showcasing efficiency and attention to detail as our priority.
Innovation and continuous improvement are at the heart of this position. You’ll be managing key financial duties such as budget management and monitoring periodic reactive spend. You’ll also collaborate with the Head of Property and the Senior Property Business Partner, creating strategic partnerships that cultivate a robust and efficient asset management system.

Key responsibilities:
As the TRU Property Business Partner, be prepared for a multifaceted and demanding role. Here is a snapshot of what your day-to-day activities could include:
Review and manage the asset management system and associated activities to ensure external service providers are performing to set requirements.
Work closely with the Senior Strategic Asset Manager to analyse asset performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor and review progress of works in line with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Manage allocated budgets in line with governance and assist in strategic planning of a £20 million property management budget.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Customer Experience, Service Quality, Projects, and Procurement to manage budgets, renewals, compliance, and service quality.
Support the Project Team with scoping, pre-starts, progress, and handovers into business as usual.
Ensure best practice is shared and consistency is applied across the NTL portfolio.
About you:

We’re also looking for the following:
Experienced multisite Facilities Manager with proven years of experience.
Strong analytical skills with hands-on asset management experience.
Experience/knowledge of ISO55001 asset management systems.
Strong personal organisational skills, managing a diverse and demanding workload.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
IT literate, able to use Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Committed and ambitious manager with strong leadership and commercial awareness.
