We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Manager to join our New Business team and take charge of expanding our customer base in the 300+ fleet segment and large salary sacrifice schemes (5,000+ eligible employees).

The role and responsibilities:
As our Strategic Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring new corporate customers and negotiating impactful deals within the large corporate fleet segment (car and van fleets running 300+ vehicles + salary sacrifice schemes for companies with more than 5,000 employees).
Your focus will be on cultivating lasting relationships and enhancing customer value through the sale of VWFS | Fleet's industry-leading product portfolio.
Your Impactful Contributions:
- Prospect: With the support of a powerful telemarketing function and warm leads from VW Group brands; prospect a defined list of 150 prospects, using this list to generate leads and opportunities to meet an annual order target of 400 vehicles across the corporate car & van and EV Salary Sacrifice arenas
- Qualify & Strategise: Through a simple qualification framework, qualify new opportunities and work collaboratively with peers to strategize your deals to a successful conclusion
- Bid: With the support of an industry-leading bid management function; lead bid & tender processes to a winning conclusion.
- Present: Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals/presentations for new corporate customers
- Negotiate: Negotiate commercial & legal aspects of new business deals with executive level decision-makers (i.e. Finance Directors)
- Close & Implement: Lead the new customer implementation process in collaboration with our Implementation team to ensure that all of the benefits of VWFS' proposal are realised by the customer to enable a smooth handover of the customer to our Account Management team.

Our ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the majority of the following experience/attributes:
- Proven track record of winning new accounts for a leasing company in a fleet new business role
- A professional and polished manner
- Self-confidence, belief and drive.
- Excellent interpersonal and conversational skills and a genuine interest in people.
- Solid understanding of the vehicle fleet sector and/or EV Salary Sacrifice.
- Strong commercial instincts with strong business planning skills.
- Accomplished negotiator comfortable engaging with executive-level decision-makers.
- Ability to challenge the status quo, including senior figures within a company
