SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for leading building and implementing collaborative business solutions which are aligned with both Tyson and customer objectives that achieve desired business results in prepared and poultry categories at Tyson. Responsibilities of this position are to manage the sale and profitable growth of Tyson Food’s iconic brands at Sam’s Club and to provide sales leadership support and timely communication to the customer and to the Tyson Business Units. SUMMARY:

The Sanitation Supervisor directs and supervises the cleaning of the plant production equipment and facility to meet food safety requirements as required by federal, state, and local regulations and by DFA to meet customer quality and safety standards. Ensures employees follow Company policies and procedures. Ensures sanitation quality and department efficiencies are maintained at or above standards. Supports the commitment to and continual improvement of Food Safety and Quality programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Day-to-day sanitation of equipment and facility. Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Develops and documents cleaning procedures (i.e. SSOP’s, cleaning logs, etc.). Train and document all sanitation workers for the safe operation and disassembly of equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety rules and standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment. Ensure food safety and quality control specifications are met. Ensure compliance with all company GMPs. Develop, maintain, and comply with Master Sanitation Schedule. Systematically develop clear and well-defined cleaning procedures for all equipment and facility areas. Work closely with management and chemical suppliers on chemical and process changes to improve sanitation results and reduce costs. Protect product during sanitation. Supervise, motivate, and train sanitation production workers. Coordinate all sanitation and some production items for the plant. Coordinate with R&D and Quality Assurance on all sanitation issues concerning production, new products, special runs, etc. Coordinate with Maintenance on any set-up/machinery/pump/mill/packaging or processing equipment problems to ensure that quality, productivity, and Food Safety standards are met. Works independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects. Other duties as assigned.

SHIFT DETAILS: Sunday – Thursday – 8:00PM – 6:00AM

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 2+ years of manufacturing experience in the food industry required; food industry sanitation experience preferred.
• Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred; HACCP certification preferred.
• Computer Skills: Efficiently utilize a personal computer outfitted with Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for planning/scheduling Facility repairs. In this role you would be responsible for obtaining repair quotes, creating requisitions for that work, and managing those projects to completion. These projects include but are not limited to lawn upkeep, snow removal, parking lot maintenance, roof repairs/replacements, flooring repairs/replacements, caulking, painting, dock doors, dock lock, battery chargers and other misc. Facility repairs. You would be responsible for training all contractors that you have on site following Tyson’s standard. Facilitating and managing monthly complex audits to make sure the facility is in audit ready compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Maintain SAP PM System data and reporting.
• Analyze data for use in Facility planning and scheduling.
• Maintain and develop enterprise-wide Best Practice preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a continuous review of P.M. work orders in relation to equipment history.
• Make recommended modifications to optimize equipment reliability and maintenance labor utilization.

• Collaborate with outside entities when working on special projects and when developing CIR (Continuous Improvement Request) development content.
• Interface with Operations Support concerning appropriate reports to develop, track, and report to management.

• Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in job running and facility repairs and maintenance. Quoting and SAP experience is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• The Spice Technician is responsible for the preparation and delivery, via fork lift, of seasoning to various production areas.

• The selected candidate will be cross-trained in other materials functions as needed.

• The Spice Technician will be responsible for completing other duties as assigned.

• The Spice Technician will be required to multi-task accurately and efficiently, in order to meet the demands of downstream customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED equivalency

• At least 18 months of continuous work experience with a single employer with in the last 18 months.
