OVERVIEW
The Manager – Strategic Projects holds a key position in shaping and implementing the association's agenda on policies for emerging technologies such as Digital Health and AI. The role encompasses fostering collaborations with diverse stakeholders to drive projects in alignment with the association's strategic agenda. The position demands a profound understanding of the healthcare landscape, the intersection of technology, and navigating the intricate relationship between technology and healthcare, identifying opportunities and challenges for policy considerations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Committee Agenda and Workstreams:
· Support the Working group’s agenda and lead designated workstreams under the committee's purview.
· Develop comprehensive project scopes, define objectives, and strategize plans for effective execution.
Stakeholder Coordination:
· Collaborate with internal as well as external stakeholders including key opinion leaders, policymakers, regulators, ensuring alignment with project goals.
· Nurture and manage relationships with involved stakeholders.
Policy Development and Thought Leadership:
· Drafting policy recommendations, position papers, press releases, OpEds, speeches, etc., contributing to advocacy and thought leadership initiatives.
· Conduct primary and secondary research to create in-house papers and concept notes.
Event Organization and Management:
· Organize end-to-end events, including structuring programs, selecting discussion topics, securing speakers, managing sponsors, marketing events, and handling logistics.
· Develop post-event reports or summaries highlighting recommendations and key takeaways.
Industry Trends and Monitoring:
· Stay updated on industry trends, monitor developments, and analyse policy issues in the digital health landscape.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Healthcare Management, Public Policy, Digital Health, AI or related fields.
- 8-10 years’ experience in strategic project management or consulting in the healthcare sector in areas such as policy development, project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and research abilities.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a cross functional environment.
- Experience of working in the broader healthcare sector
